BREEDING CATS | GAINING CAT COLOURS

Hi all, as many of you know collecting cat types can be a rather difficult task. Myself and a few
players would like to breed our cats together to gain different colourings from each
other, but when we breed, we can only produce the colour type we already have.

Eg the situation at the moment:
Mr. Whiskers is a tabby cat who belongs to me.
Lilac a black tuxedo cat who belongs to Bob.
I breed Mr. Whiskers with Lilac on my island.
They always produce tabby cats in my possession.

I would like for the possibility that the kitten could be a black tuxedo cat.

I am not sure if this was simply overlooked, or whether this was intentional but being able to breed with other people's pets to gain cat colour types would be greatly helpful. Since you cannot feed another player's pet without being trusted on their island, "stealing" colours or breeding someone's pet without their permission would be impossible.

This is how I would like the new system to work:
Mr. Whiskers is a tabby cat who belongs to me. Lilac a black tuxedo cat who belongs to Bob.
Bob takes Lilac to my island. Bob feeds Lilac, I feed Mr. Whiskers. Since Lilac is visiting my island, the kitten produced will be in my possession. This kitten now has the possibility of being a black tuxedo cat. (It would be reversed if I took Mr. Whiskers to Bob's island. Then, the kitten would be Bob's and would have the possibility of being a tabby cat.)
