Botzi101 Moderator Application [.Net] Hello! My name is botzi101 and I am try to become I mod.Let me tell you some things about myself first. I am a girl who loves to act, sing, and dance. I love to be on mincraft because you can express your creativity and build whatever you want. (Besides circles XD) I am very mature and I feel I have what it takes to become a successful moderator. I hope you take the time to read over my application and put some thought into it. Thanks and Enjoy! Name: Botzi101 Timezone: Mountain Time Zone Languages: English mainly. I am not fluent and any other languages but I know a couple words in other languages like Greek and Spanish. *If there was someone that spoke a language I couldn't understand I would let someone else take over to help them out. Ever been banned: No. Only kick for little mistakes like caps. Why I want to be a mod: I have always wanted to help people when I first logged onto this server. I believe a way to become a great mod is not only to help a player with what they need, but to be able to connect and bond with them. I love to see people's smile icons in the chat after their problems are fixed and I would love to become a part of this great community. Also, I can type fast. If someone is in need I wish to help them with any questions or concerns as soon as possible to let them know. I can type about 50 wpm. I feel like I am very capable of this responsibility and am not only helping, but learning myself the rules and policies. I know the terms very well and I can always say what is illegal to people who need to know. I know sometimes mods have to multitask helping people and talking in the chat and I believe I can do that also. I will be able to come on and help whenever I am needed and no distractions (besides homework) will be in my way. I would try to be on everyday and become more active on the forums with voting and helping people out. You may think I am a bit young for this big task but I think I will be able to take on the challenges this job would throw out to me. If I became a mod, I would make sure the person is helped all the way; not leaving them still questioning about a specific thing. For example, in game I run a banner shop where I have a lot of players asking me how to make or copy banners. Of course it can be time consuming to answer it over and over but I want people to become successful on the server too so I explain it to them all the way so they can be inspired to run a great shop. I also am becoming more aware and active in the chat too. I can easily spot out someone trying to sell dirt or buying a bucket of lava and am able to let them know it is illegal. I am trying to improve talking to people in the chat to become more popular and to improve my typing skills. I am now a donor 25 so I think it is sweet when people ask me questions because it is great to think they want to be helped out by a person that is not a mod. This comes to the topic of inspiration. Becoming a mod I want to inspire players to do amazing things. I always have people who come up to me or type in the chat to ask to join a coop or want to join someone's shop. I always tell them they should have their own island. With their own creativity and hard work anybody can turn a simple island into a dream land. I want people to be helped and inspired, just like I was. How long can you be active: It really depends on the type of day. On school days I can probably be on for 2 hours after school at the most and on weekends it really depends if I am doing something that day. Definitely 1 hour in the morning (at my time) and maybe 2 hours late at night. (Weekends= More time) On breaks I can spend way more time. I am very flexible with times whenever I am needed. I will put a schedule so you can get a better idea. Sundays- (If going somewhere)- Morning- 7:30- 9:30 Later- 6:00- 8:30 Mondays- 5:00- 8:30 p.m Tuesdays- 7:00- 8:30 p.m Wednesdays- 5:30- 8:30 p.m Thursdays- 5:00- 8:30 p.m Fridays and Saturdays (If going somewhere) - Morning- 7:30- 9:30 Later- 6:00- 10:00 Fridays and Saturdays (If staying at home) - It can really vary depending on if someone wants me to do something but I could be on all the time mostly. They are my lazy days. Holiday Breaks- I have a lot of time if we are just staying home and I can be on more than weekends and school days. These are my lazy days x2 *I may be afk some time because of short time things like chores or homework. I wouldn't make it a big deal. Also my school gets out at 2:53 and when I ride the bus I come home around 10 till 4 p.m my time. I also have after school activities on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Past experience as a moderator: I have not had any past experience. This is the main server I go on and finally, after about 3 years of being this server, I am applying to try be a mod. I would appreciate some tips and helpful comments to improve my application and I really enjoy each and everyone's responses. Thank you for reading my application and I hope you put me in consideration. -Botzi101
Take a look at other applications, learn off there's, don't copy. Space everything out, make it easier to read, it's all too congested to fluently read, adding colour to the titles would work well in this situation. Make yourself known, get to know people in the community, in game and on the forums, if people don't know you they usually don't bother looking at your application You don't seem very active on the forums ( low trophies and low ratings), post regularly, and get involved! Nor no support/support for now. I wish you the best of luck.
I'm not going to support/non support but rather help out to improve your application. Colour or bold your titles/questions. Space it out, everything is squished together. You are still a bit new, get to know the community. Add a bit more detail. These are my opinions on how to improve an application, if you feel as if this is alright itself, you can find out your own way to improve the app.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support and I will take it all in and fix it. I hope it will be a improvement than before!
Dear botzi101, I think that you have made quite a good start to the application but that you really need to make it more presentable, expand it and hone in on your key points. Yours sincerely, Liam Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
No Support. Don't use yellow, for it is too bright, and hard to read. This is a good start, but just add more information to why you should be a mod. Get use to the forums for a bit, since you seem new. Good Luck for now.
