Closed Boat Racing event! (125$+ worth of prizes) Saturday

Hosting Christmas boat racing event Saturday this week! (we aim for the prizes to total around 150$ worth of stuff, in skyblock stuff of-course)
Time (according to Timezones):
EAT (east africa time) : 10:30pm
EST (Eastern standard time) : 2:30pm
GMT (Greenwich Mean time) : 7:30pm
AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) : 6:30am -_-
This event should take about 1-2 hours depending on how quick people are.

if you can, we are trying to estimate how many players will show up, to prepare additional resources if need be, so just let us (wotzwotz, arxh__ or hey_itsJimmy) know dms or here on the forums works too. -- we are expecting between 20-30 people but really have no idea


we have considered that using hacks such as "timer" and other speed hacks will be very easy for most to do, and very difficult to notice, so we are requesting everyone competing for the 1st-5th place prizes all recorded their screens during the races, though this is not necessary, we may deny that you win the prize due to not doing this this, because of suspicions, so we highly urge you do to be able to prove your case. This is especially important as we had suspicions of cheating in our last event, and we want to ensure this remains a fair competition for all of the participants. if unable to record your screen, your second best option is to periodically take screenshots while racing, and in your esc menu so that we can see there is no active hacked client.

These precautions are to ensure players stick with the rules and guidelines laid out here;
- no hacked clients, or game modifiers even just for full bright, you must be using vanilla.
- no cheating in the course, eg. going off the edge to fall onto a later level, even though we deem this unlikely as we have checked for holes, anything is possible. (Shortcutting basically)
- don't leave your boat until you pass the finish line.
- Use common sense.

NO mods that speed up your game!

NO cheating (obviously)
NO shortcutting
NO leaving your boat until told too OR you reach the end

Idk if giving accounts as a prize is allowed but cool competition, imma try and join!

 

IRL TRADING
IRL trading, "in-real life trading", is conducting a trade of ones server items for perks outside of the server, typically real life currency

the reason this is legal is because I’m not gaining perks outside of the server, instead getting no personal gain, which makes it not irl trading, hence not breaking the rules since it’s not technically “trading”, rather than giving away

 

TRADING NON-MINECRAFT ITEMS
Skyblock items can be traded for some things, however it is important to note that there are several items that are strictly prohibited as they go against our real life trading rule. The items that are not allowed to be traded are listed below:

• Any game from a store (e.g steam)
• Itunes, Spotify, Xbox, Netflix or any other gift card you can add payments to
• Crowd funding
• Real life currency
• Bitcoin or other virtual currencies
• Other game's in-game currency, items and more
• Mojang accounts
• Minecraft/Optifine capes
• Other ranks (on websites and servers that are not owned by Noobcrew)
• Real life items (gumtree, ebay, amazon etc)
