So, there's a first time for everything, I recall hearing every so often, and supposedly that applies to introduction threads as well.

Hello Skyblock & co.

I am Thomas, a 20 year old Danish/American currently based in Dublin, Ireland where I live, love, laugh and work. I have a wide array of interests, and Minecraft often gets lost in this huge string of endeavours I take on, but every now and then I will come back to the familiar blocks and pixels that I've spent hours upon hours on ever since the alpha was released.

In my professional time, I am the founder of a collaborative writing project called 7 Billion & Me, something I've provided a link to in my signature below. It's my job to run editorials on every new article, and whip and hassle the authors to make sure they don't stall themselves at the local pub all day, so boozed up by Guinness when they get home that writing is the lowest priority on their agenda. A job I thoroughly enjoy, if I might say so myself. Myself I love writing, and I'll write articles for absolutely everything I get around to. The latest, and perhaps most relevant project for you guys here at Skyblock was my post on these very forums, "From Dirt to Diamonds: An in-depth guide to the Skyblock economy." Whenever I actually get around to playing on the server, I'm your typical down-to-earth, in-it-for-the-laughs sort of guy. I don't mind a challenge, I don't hog my resources to put my internet presence on some sort of pedestal. Rather, I enjoy sharing whatever I can get my hands on, providing a helping hand to those who need it, and participating in all the joint ventures I can possibly find.

Whenever I'm not stationed at my computer writing or doing graphical design (my freelance occupation) I practice and perform parkour, an extreme-sport in urban settings, play piano, enjoy a pint every now and then, and thrive in social settings, especially at the local pub or Dublin's beautiful city centre.

There's two kinds of people on this forum; Ones that put effort and time into their posts, therefore causing those around them to think about things for longer than 3 seconds, those who kinda just half-a** everything (such as the writers you mentioned who stall at the pub all day), and those that can't count. I'm placing you in the first category.


I'm going to enjoy your stay in this community. Please don't make your "Leaving forever give me stoof so i dunt leaf lol" thread anytime soon! (Pardon the horrible spelling., but I had to accurately portray the horrible grammar that people tend to use when they stop caring.)

Hahaha! I thoroughly enjoyed that welcome. Thank you very much for your kind words. Don't worry, I do not intend to leave, and should it so happen, I'm fairly sure bribes are not going to affect my decision. I hope to see you around in-game soon, but I seem to recall you playing mostly on .ORG, so supposedly it'll have to wait till I find time to swing over there and say hi!
