I'm just letting you guys know before it gets out of hand you can now duplicate a book in the crafting table and this is legal as it's coded into Minecraft. It will duplicate any book and in return you will get the same book, author & text inside. I know people buy sigs for lots of diamonds and i don't want to see anyone getting scammed.

I bought SkythekidRS's sig for 6 diamonds I wondered why I got it so cheap. Then I found out about the book "dupe"

Well crap, I bought like 5 chest of the xmas sig to resell so now that will be worthless?

If I know think I wouldnt have bought it all on xmas day. Unless this was a feature of the latest update. Man this sucks because they are all worthless. Well now we can mass produce our own written lore/how to's/ect if we wanted.

Why would Mojang put this in?

 

So if you want to make a book thats HUGE and want it copied then you can do it easily. This will be good for my book coming out soon

 

It must have been in the last update because when I bought all those Cyp xmas signatures I couldnt stack so it took up like 5 chest but now I noticed that copied books stack.

When the 1.8 update happens it's supposed to change so when you copy a book the title changes to "Copy of ...".

But yeah, right now it copies exactly.

 

Yeah that would make perfect sense.. Im kinda bummed out since I worked hard to collect a bunch of signatures before the last update which means the great hobby of book collecting is pointless and worthless

 

Nothing is pointless if you like it. This is just something to keep in mind while pricing.

And sorry about the books you already collected. Tis the nature of minecraft to change on a whim like that. *hugs*

 

Wow this stinks I spent some diamonds on Crew's book and now that I think about it I have seen the EXACT same book I bought before. Most likely duplicated
