Best way to get silk touch book?

 

Fishing is the fastest way to get it free, though they sell for about 6 grass on skyblock

 

It's also possible to enchant a pickaxe/axe with silk touch, but silk touch pickaxes sell for around 6 grass and silk books for around 10.

I don't think you can get silk touch from /enchant as far as the many picks I have enchanted only few ways are from fishing or from enchanting a lot of books and praying you get a silk book.


Silk picks are around 5 or 6 for the most part (I sell them for 5 but only if they're in stock). I can't speak for axes as I have not sold one and I don't see them as worthy of getting silk touch.

 

Yeah its not possible to use /enchant to put silk touch on a tool. The only way to get a silk touch book is from fishing or buying it off another player.

 

I never stated that you could /enchant them. Enchant tables exist for a reason however, and you can use an Enchant table to enchant your pickaxe with Silk Touch, it just takes a lot of time (and luck). Same with fishing.
