First of all, it is not your decision how long of a ban $25 is worth. The duration of your ban takes into account your past offenses as well, and a first time offender probably would not have a ban this long. Your past also influences your credibility when you claim something to be an accident while having a history of lying to staff.

I can't read your mind so I'm not going to make predictions on why you did what you did, or how long you expected a ban for something like that to be.

You need to take full responsibility for your actions instead of complaining about the length of the ban, or complaining about Shawn not messaging you about it first. That is what is going to get you unbanned. Giving me attitude is only going to draw this appeal out longer.

 

You're spending more effort arguing than focusing on fixing the problem here, which is what I warned you not to do.

 

What I would recommend is just a simple appeal if something like this happens in the future, explaining what happened and what your solution will be. There is no need to argue and quote everything we say, and no need to point out the victim's faults.

I am still clarifying things with Shawnberry and Togpuss and will get back to this appeal after I've talked to them.

Yes, you can do the trade after being unbanned if you like.
I haven't decided when that will be, although the duration of your ban is directly related to the attitude you choose to take with this appeal.

 

You will be unbanned now but as Shawn is not online I can't ask him if he still wants to do the trade after I told him you no longer wanted to do it. If you still want to go through with it I just need both of you to send me or another mod confirmation of the trade and it can be processed directly.
