Ban Hammer catching me "flying downwards very fast"

So ban Hammer is banning less hackers and more non-donors falling? Then I'm really wondering how this archaic plugin is still installed. ..

When I was building my second platform, I spent more time in single player than actually on server building it.

New fact: I now got banned ("ban hammered") two times while simply nuking leaves while standing on top of the tree (I got onto with a ladder ). What is this for a new weird s***??

In the meantime, other players brag about fly hacking unpunished... Seriously what a GREAT plugin (yeah I'm slightly annoyed).

 

Look at the ban appeals. The console bans are spreading like a plague.

Too happend to my brother on Brother's computer have so many laggy because the brother's computer is old and my brother got banned from this server

You may not believe me, but I got banned 3 times by te ban hammer in the last 2 days.
2 days ago I was not even falling, it just banned me straight away.
The second time (yesterday) it banned me while I was falling, at Trola's island (I wanted to go to the public grinders). The third time exactly the same thing happened. Now, if I am falling and my Y-value is decreasing by 30 blocks/second, How am I flying????!!

 

What the console's trying to tell you is buy donor50+ and you'll be alright earsofjoy: jk.

Support, from what I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong, if you're in the air for a period of 3-6 seconds, it thinks you're flying

 

Avoid half-slabs according to your first ban. Second and third, I guess just get /fly or don't go to the grinders when your internet is awfully slow

 

Yeah I was also thinking of that. Yet I won't spend my Money to solve a Server bug. In contrary, this is a major reason why I won't donate to date, because I won't buy donor 50 at once, rather start with a lower grade. But paying to get banned 30 minutes every now and then - no way.

Hackers fly much longer and don't get banned. It has also something to do with the blocks around you. I guess.

It's not only half-slabs. I once got banned just Standing on a tree while harvesting the leafs. Harvested the one below me and got banned.

 

Oh wow. I haven't been a non-donor in a long time. Forgot about everything

I may have missed some.

 

I think the least a mod could do is unban you when you do get banned. The last time I got console banned (even with donor100) one of the mods (no names) just told me to wait it out, when I said it just takes a short command to do /unban, he simply ignored me and locked the appeal. Fortunately, MizukiKatsumi saw the appeal and unbanned me right away.

 

Actually, the mods are totally aware of the extend of the Problem and are unbanning for console bans upon request, as you can see in my exampple. You could say they are fighting alongside us. Big up to them for that

This thread is actually trying to catch the Attention of the admins and devs. I leave it to the mods to tag them here if they think it is necessary, though I know this issue has already been brought to the attention of Cyp. I'd so like to know what prevents this issue from being resolved.

I constantly feed this thread following the maxim "massive complaint eventually get heard" (don't know if it exists like that in english...).

 

Many times, actually, they tell you to wait it out

 

Support, last year, the Christmas drop party was on and I got banned for 30 mins when i fell off the plat from for "flying" That was the last time i do any event drop party.

 

I have seen hackers flying a lot without getting banned. It is less risky to use fly hacks than falling off a cliff... which is one of the biggest concerns. :/

 

This has happened to me before the reset too.

 

Here again my Little Review of public console ban Appeals (since 13th April). Those who got banned a few times like myself are now mostly doing direct PM Appeals with mods. However I do it only when I cannot take the ban because it's taking up the Little time I have spare to Play.

Looks like it's not much, but that's in fact 20% of the Appeals of that period, and the top of the iceberg. As with any major product flaw, you never hear the big base of frustrated "customers" who don't bother complaining, just quit and won't come back.

 

I support. There should be some sort of rule where if you maybe move more than 3 or 4 blocks over while falling, then you get banned, or just have some sort of thing that triggers the console ban to know the difference between falling and flying.
