I see myself as a good applicant, as I am experienced, I know a lot about this server/community, I know all commands. I adore this community, I've always loved helping the whole community out, by moderating the chat, answering questions, just generally trying to be helpful to all who join the server. I'm a patient person, I see this as an important quality, as moderating may become hectic after a while, as many people ask questions on busy days. I am calm in all situations, pretty much. As said, I am a calm person. I will not talk back to a player, I strive to be polite, and to not disrespect anybody, I try my hardest to act professional and to keep the server and forum as clean as possible. I act mature all the time, I do tend to tell people off for saying bad things but I can take a little joke, and make jokes when I'm just chilling. I do not make inappropriate or uncalled for jokes in public chat, such as racist, sexist, sexual, homophobic, religious, or any type of sensitive topic jokes. I treat and respect everyone equally. There is no difference between a friend, sibling or person unknown to me when it comes to punishing others. I am a fast typer. Thus, I am able to respond quickly. I have a lot of history with these servers, being an active member for well over two years. I feel as if I am experienced enough to apply, and that I would do a good, or even great job. I am a familiar face here and believe myself to be friends with a big part of the community. Expanding on my last point, I feel like I am a trusted member of the community by now, as mentioned, I have been here for a while. I find it good to have a familiar person you feel is trustworthy and loyal on the staff team (do note that I am not trying to say newer members that become staff members are worse, not at all). I don't usually see staff members in my timezone on weekdays. Possibly my weird times, or some other reasons, but the most important thing here, is that I feel as if I can fill that gap, where moderators are not online all too much. I'm a fact learner. I get the grasp of things within mere minutes. It's not hard for me to learn some commands, rules or just essential moderating behavior (I know most of this, however still noting just in case). For example, I easily grasp basics of languages (using this as an example, as I don't really need this when moderating, for the most part). I easily communicate, as I am just overall a people person. I get along with others, even when they do not get along with me, I'm still respectful. I feel as if I can get through to a person and just overall do my "work". The one true reason I am applying, is to, as everyone, give a helping hand. I am aware that this is a bland and overused reason, however, how may I not include it? Helping out is what inspired me to create my first application two years back, and what is inspiring me to write this now. I can put myself in someone else's shoes. Understand them or how they feel. I'm adding this as I feel like this could be useful in the future. Expanding on the point where I stated that I keep things clean, I also keep everything possible professional. For example, I do not use "lazy" language when dealing with an important situation. I know the difference between a discussion, a flame war and an opinion. I've seen people fail to distinguish these three similar, yet vastly varying things. I know when it's time to stop someone, or myself. I calm the topic or finish it if so required. I am aware of how to take action in such situations.
