I pushed armor stand with piston and broke the block underneath and now it's just hovering in midair; can someone tell me why armor stands are not obeying gravity on this server?

They are supposed to be registered as entities, no? I thought that means they are subject to gravity.

Paying a stack if you can figure this out for me

    Thanks!

Thanks! Do you know why? And how can I work around it?

Are you trying to push the armour stand into a block? If so, you place the stand first. Then push a block into the stand, not push the stand itself. You can also place stands on differently layered block heights, eg trapdoors and Slabs etc

No I am trying to have the armor stand fall down vertically; in regular minecraft it spawns as an entity which means it can stand on surfaces which are not strictly slab or half slab. This is used for a building trick where you can make unique patterns by making armor stands fall on 3/5 piled fallen snow and then shoving a regular block on top of the armor stand. The very tip of the stand will show thru the block and you can use that to make designs.
