Anybody want a monopoly game? (redstone)

I read your post but if I'm not mistaken part of the bug was hoppers leading into and leaving tradeshops and lockettes.

Edit: Plus if hoppers could lead into tradeshops and lockettes people could fill other peoples private things with garbage.

 

Pretty sure the issue with duping is with hopper loops. i.e. items moving from hopper to hopper to hopper in a loop across chunk boundaries. The glitch cause items to duplicate from chunk to chunk. Never looked into it too much.

Below is the setup that Would assist Drogo greatly, and probably anyone else running trade shops or wanting to automate farming.
Of course this would be a last resort if full functionality cannot be restored.

 

Oh, Drogo forgot to say, Love the monopoly idea. Things like this and other things that become possible with hoppers makes the game so much better.

I see now, forgot you could add chests to hopper elevators. But even still. People trusted on your island could fill your locked chests and trade shops with garbage.
Edit: I didn't mention that this would make trade shops bootable by hoppers.

 

Firstly, If anyone has people like that on their island, they should leave or kick them.
Secondly, you'd just private the hoppers and the chests.

 

I agree with you on both of those points. We'll just have to see when they implement them, I expect some limitations sadly.

 

Cypriot mentioned above he has 'patched' a certain bug, but he needs someone who knows them ALL.

I'm a Little sceptic about that "hoppers comeback" Story. That + ma j and the lag ingame will beat the worst lag we had so far...

 

If someone is trusted on the island they can already break into a trade shop. Having hoppers enabled won't do much to tradeshops.

Visual representation is a problem there. mhm, maybe bouncing sheep? No idea, but the redstone behind it is easy.

Great idea. I think this would be awesome. Maybe you could name the places on the "board" after famous islands?

 

Eh, problem with that is someone won't be mentioned and be miserable. I can of course add places like
'You pay a ... bill for dining at /visit Croghs' luxury restaurant' because that's an entire island dedication and something worth mentioning as no one gets any advertising value out of it. But other wise I'm not certain
