Assuming The piece only has to travel three spaces. The psiton immediately jumps it one space, leaving 2 blocks of travel, and you can reach it about a block and a half out leaving 1/2-1 block of travel before you can reach it, then the risk is no greater than if you were to drop it in front of them because in my experience it takes a couple in game ticks to pick anything up anyways.
There used to be a warning for Clag. I've made a suggestion thread to add it back since it seems to have disappeared. I lost a Diamond Pickaxe on Org because of the lack of warning.
Thinking about it. For single item trades a simple chest and comparator system(comparator leading into I think it's called an AND gate) would work to avoid clag. Pistons cover the chests and when the both persons but the items in the pistons retract. Although, once one item is removed the pistons will both close... problems throughout this chest idea also you'd have to trust them. Bleh, welp maybe the idea has lead to some inspiration, probably not.
Two problems: • CLAG • the person who goes first can be scammed because the other person can just take the item and leave XD
As you can see from the screenshots, both players have to stand on the pressure plates for the items to be released into the opposite section. It's not simply a water stream to the other side, there are sticky pistons locked and loaded. Once the items have made their way on the other side the users pick up the stuff and everyone's happy - I'd assume.
No problemo. Looking at the screenshots it seems the redstone can be compacted. Could you post some screenshots and maybe I could whip up a more compact design?
