another trident lost to the void..

    i was throwing my trident in the water (like you should) and it fell somewhere off the water's edge?? i have no idea where it went but my best guess is the void.

    Tridents return now if thrown in the void. Sometimes you have to fly in the direction it went.

    It will follow the same despawn rules as any other item. If you didn't get it back it has despawned.
