For applications for mods, I realized that most people support the more 'popular' people for certain things. I thought maybe if the applications were anonymous, and you just looked at their application, people would have better judgement for them.

The only thing is that it's not all about the application. People want to know how active they really are, and how much they really do help when they're on line. Sometimes, we don't want to take people's word for it, we want to see them in action ourselves.

Hm, that actually is a good point. I just wanted some way where not the really cool or rich people got to get more support. I think some people also support people because of items given to them or dropparties.

Yeah, that makes sense. This just might not be the best way to accomplish it.

Artificiality wrote a really good little guide on what to think about when reviewing mod apps.

As for a way of enforcing that kind of thinking, I'm not sure there is one that works well.

I got this idea from Artie's guide. Although I still think most people judge on things that the person has done (like free stuff) more than their app.
