I was wondering if I was Mod because whenever a new post would be created I would usually get a alert saying (Player) has created a new thread in (Section) so may anyone tell me what happened or if this is a update.

 

No, I don't think so. Because they would have about 100+ Alerts. Most of them will be pointless you can say for em.

 

But usually I get that saying someone created a new thread in the Mod application section and in suggestions.

 

I think you accidentally clicked "read all forums"

 

But on my screen there is no read all forums this must be something weird.

If you were a Mod, you'd have the Mod status instead of 'Active Member' or 'Member'.
So no.
Probably just an alert as you might have edited something in your alert settings.

 

May I ask where are the "alert settings"?

 

Its under 'Watch forum' I think.

 

As mentioned, you must have clicked on the button to watch the entire section. When this happens, it'll alert you any time a player creates a thread under that specific section. Sorry if you got your hopes up ):
