What if we had achievements like own a Cypriot head or seasonal head. Place (blank) blocks. This will make skyblock way more fun and will promote trade and donating. This would be so cool if it is possible since the normal MC achievements are boring and they fail to agree with skyblock. As well when you get on a new computer I believe the achievements reset. In general, this will improve the activity of the server. Adding an achievement would encourage and control the server in a good way. Here are some examples and some positive outcomes: (Some may be generic and explain multiple different achievements Ex. Blocks achievement) Voter- you get achievements for voting either a certain number of times or a certain number of times in a row. This will promote voting. Donor- you get this by buying anything from buycraft or shop.skyblock.net Forums- you get this by getting a forums account and authenticating it with a mod
Sounds nice. I was thinking of making challenges, but this sounds like the same idea. For example, a challenge, or achievement to try and get, could start small and get bigger. So, you could try and get 64 cobble, then a diamond, a diamond pick, etc. I think it would be a fun thing to implement into the server.
I like this a lot. Maybe an achievement could be donating a certain amount of money to the server like donor10 or something.
Neutral, a lot of skyblock servers have challenges. I havr always found them frustrating as many of them are unachievable as a certain rank or status. One of the reasons I love these servers is due to their uniqeness. I have always found that making your own goals within your island is fun to do, even without the generic challenges.
I see your point, but I believe the challenges may make skyblock forever fun some are supposed to be unachievable. It will most likely keep people playing.
Block achievements- you get one of these by holding a certain block (specified). This could be a seasonal head or spawner or anything. Trusted- get this by being trusted by others Builder- get this by placing a certain number of blocks either specified or not.
