Acceptable Hacks and Cheats

Hacked clients can be extremely useful on Skyblock. However some cheats included in these hacked clients are not permitted. This guide will allow you to determine if the hacks you wish to use is legal or illegal, where you can use the hack, and if there is any restrictions in place around its use. If you do not see the hack you want to use listed please contact a staff member before using it.

Rules for Hacks and Cheats

The server rules dictate that the hacks that you use should not be used to gain an advantage. This refers to:
- Using hacks to win in combat at mob arena
- Using hacks to explore the nether
- Using hacks to kill more mobs at /warp mob and /warp animal
- Using hacks to change your movement such as flying without purchasing the /fly command or related rank
- Using hacks to invade the privacy of other players such as bypassing /lock or an island ban

This does not refer to:
- Using hacks to automate killing mobs
- Using hacks to afk mine

Where can I use hacks?

Only legal hacks may be used. You may use hacks on your own island ONLY. You must ask for permission to use hacks on another persons island.

You need to ask permission as:
- You may end up griefing the person's island and destroying their property, mobs or even looting them
- You could bypass island restrictions
- You may unintentionally glitch or exploit a glitch/bug

If you use hacks on an island without permission from the island owner and/or something happens, you will be held responsible and may face punishment even if the hack is legal.

Where you cannot use hacks

You cannot use hacks at public warps and some public spaces. Even if the hack is LEGAL you cannot use them in these areas.

This includes;
- Mob Arena
- The Nether
- /warp passive (/warp animal)
- / warp hostile (/warp mob)

Exceptions

There are some illegal hacks that are legal when you are Elite or Skylord rank and above, or if you have purchased /fly from our webstore.
These are:

Illegal Hacks

These hacks are illegal as they modify players movements in a way that mimics paid commands and may cause harm to the server and its players. Using these hacks anywhere on the server including your own island will result in punishment.

it was probably speed causing some lag and leading to the server thinking that you're flying. I would recommend turning that off to be safe and seeing if it happens again.

 

Im adding high jump to not allowed as a i believe console may ban you for this. Its safer not to use it. But i have a slight feeling it is an island only allowed hack

 

Hacks are basically cheats, its cheating. Mojang could probably get rid of them if they were worried.
Im just going what with the original thread that was removed.
Im just going to put it out there but we cant stop people from using hacks/cheats. The anti cheat plugins can be too harsh. If skyblock was to suffer it would have years ago.

 

Exactly. So it doesnt quite matter anymore. This server wont get in trouble for letting people use hacks.
I just say if you dont want to use them, dont.
