5. Why do YOU think you were banned? I think the joke that I made struck a nerve with CypriotMerks, some of his old friends told me he got really upset at some of them for making similar jokes. It's been several months, so I don't remember exactly, but the chat was basically:
   • Person 1: You shouldn't put pics of yourself online, there's a lot of creeps out there.
   • Me: Is that why Cyp made an IRL pics thread?

I didn't personally think much of or mean anything by the comment, I just thought it would make someone laugh or something, but it clearly struck a nerve as CypriotMerks logged in within 60 seconds (I guess someone told him on discord) and perma-banned me. I messaged him on discord and asked if we could talk and he just said "nope". I told him that I wanted to apologize personally on discord, regardless of whether or not it would result in me being unbanned and he blocked me immediately after.

1. Was this an incorrect ban? I suppose that's somewhat subjective. I guess the joke itself is too adult for the skyblock server and would be considered distasteful if not just inappropriate. I would certainly stipulate that I shouldn't have made the joke, which is why I wanted to apologize to him for making it in the first place. I feel that, at the very least, CypriotMerks' decision to make this a permaban instead of a warning or temporary ban, is inconsistent with other cases involving different players and staff members, but very similar comments.
   
2. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I had a temporary ban that was for making a joke about grammar nazis and nazis that Natalia/Talia didn't like while she was on staff. It was appealed and we reached an understanding.
   
3. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I feel like, if for no other reason, I should be unbanned simply because the punishment is inconsistent with the transgression. Otherwise, I'd just say that I'm a fairly positive member of the community that's helpful and interactive with others. My mother would also definitely be appreciative, because she misses playing Minecraft together, but that's besides the point. I feel like I did put my best foot forward in regards to this incident, but sort of got ignored. I'd definitely be sure to keep my humor at a PG level in the future and use Myrm puns/dad jokes as my primary form of delivery, as opposed to more controversial or bothersome subjects.
