Okay so as we know we have tons of suggestions created everyday most of which can be dismissed and some can be very possible and could regenerate skyblock back into being a popular server (whether it is popular or not is up to debate).

Which takes me to my suggestion.

My suggestion is to fill the missing link between the programmers and the players suggesting, somebody who has a knowledge of what is possible and a trusted individual who can give the post a stamp of approval or whether it is a rejection once the post reaches, for example 15 supports. Right now it seems to only be a popularity competition as suggestions have gone even into its 3 page and still have a certain neglected feel from anybody official (people who can actually put the suggestion into action).

I propose that someone is chosen to do this role but I still would like to see the support and no support buttons still remain within the forums

I reckon this is a very small role for a server that I feel has so much potential.

but thats my point as well, players are kind of left in the dark what the possibility of their suggestion being taken on board and if suggestions are obviously not possible then the person in that role would say it straight away

 

but the thing is the players never know what cyp and crew want because there is no link and to my understanding some people feel like they neglect the server (which i know not to be true). The suggested role is only to add in that listening aspect

In terms of comments speaking for themselves i agree that commenters can be a reliable source but then again if a popular donor was to post something up people sub consciously relate to it more than a less well known greenie would. Furthermore having someone in the know doesnt neccesarily mean to be an equal to crew/cyp, just someone who has an understanding of what they want and what is possible.

In terms of "cant exactly reject suggestions unless cyp says he will never implement it", when was the last time anyone saw cyp commenting on suggestions? Again im not saying cyp doesnt care, all im saying is that he has a life and wont be able to do everything and why should he if there are several people who would love to contribute in some way

 

but thats where the role would come in handy as cyp and crew would tell the direction they are looking for meaning someone is in the know and retionalising comments

Im not suggesting he doesnt listen all i think is an element of feedback would make people see what is possible and prevent more people from falling into the same mistake

 

The only new thing to net I can think of since 2012 is trade shop. But we've lost more things than gained.

2012 had more things to do than it does now.

These servers are dead. New better ones where people have reasons to play. The economy here is destroyed. No new items are ever added. Nothing new to do but build and restart islands. We went from a constant 500 with me sitting and trying to join for 10 minutes as a green bean. We had org at atleast 100 players.

Something needs to be down here. A community needs to be built. Our ideas need to be heard. There are tons of great suggestions that aren't game changing. Just something fun and new.

Everyone knows our suggestions go no where :/

 

Exactly, last year I think I only saw one or two in-game suggestions be added.
