A guide to Skyblock.net!

There are 3 Skyblock servers:
- Skyblock.net (This thread is about Skyblock.net)
- Skyblock.org ( The economy server)
- Skywars.com (PvP server)

Skyblock.net is the biggest of these servers so that is what this thread is about. Here is a small fact file of Skyblock.net:

The main Currencies of Skyblock.net: Grass blocks (Do not confuse for dirt blocks or tall grass) and diamonds.
How do you start an island on Skyblock.net?: /newisland
How do I re-start my island?: /newisland replace THEN TYPE /newisland yes
What do I get on my starter island?: An island which has around 80 dirt blocks, 2 sand blocks, a small tree and a chest. Inside the chest is a lava bucket, 2 ice, 3 bones, 1 sugarcane, 1 brown mushroom, 1 red mushroom, 1 cactus.
What do I do if my lava turns into obsidian? Right click the obsidian to get lava again.
What are the warps I can go to?: /spawn, /warp noobspawn, /warp grass, /parkour, /warp animal, /warp donor (ONLY for Donors of the server), /warp skybase, /warp mob, /warp stafflist, /warp crates, /warp info. /warp illigals (There are more warps and you can see them by doing /warps)
Nooo... I lost my only sapling!!: Do /kit sapling
How do I get back home?: /home
How do I visit another person's island?: /visit [playername]
Why are mobs not spawning on my island?: Entities do NOT spawn on player's islands. If you need animals then go to /warp animal and if you need hostile mobs then go /warp mob.

This is just some of the things that you need to know. I will explain everything else in detail below.

How do you skyblock?
So when getting started here is some of the things you should do:

- Make a cobblestone generator
- Go to /warp animal to get food
- Go to /warp mob to get mob drops
- Build a small cactus/sugarcane/mushroom farm
- Build up your island to make it EPIC

These are some of the warps in detail:

- /warp animal : This is the place where there are cows, sheep, pigs and chickens which you can kill to get food/what they drop.
- /warp grass : In this building there are villagers which sell certain items for grass. You can also learn how to make a trade shop and in here you can also use your voter crate keys.
- /warp mob : This is the place where there are skeletons, endermen and spiders which you can kill to get their drops.

How do I get grass/diamonds?

You can get grass from voting for the server, trading, and gambling.
You can also buy grass on the server's website shop.skyblock.net (THIS IS A SHOP WHERE YOU SPEND REAL MONEY)

What do you use grass/diamonds for?

With grass/diamonds you can trade with other people and buy different items. Here are some of the prices there are in the skyblock world. These prices are not the exact prices as it depends on who you are trading with/etc.

1 diamond = 18-25 grass
1 grass = 16-128 logs
1 grass = 64-194 cobblestone
1 grass = 32-194 stone
3-6 diamonds/64-128 grass = 1 mob spawner

THESE ARE JUST AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU CAN BUY. PEOPLE SELL MANY DIFFERENT ITEMS AND YOU CAN BUY MORE ITEMS AT /WARP GRASS.

How do I make a tradeshop using chests?

You can create a trade shop using chests by placing a sign above the chest and typing:

Line 1: [TRADE]
Line 2: (What you are selling)
Line 3: (What you want in return for what you are selling)​

What are voter crate keys?
Voter crate keys are keys which you get from voting for the server on Vote for Skyblock | Minecraft Servers AND Skyblock 1.8 Vote Page - Minecraft Server which you can use at /warp crates. You will also get one grass block and one voter crate key for doing this and somtimes if you're lucky you can get:

- An extra grass block (1 in 10 chance)
- Five extra grass blocks (1 in 25 chance)
- Redstone block (1 in 35 chance)
- Three iron ingots (1 in 50 chance)
- A jukebox (1 in 75 chance)
- A diamond pickaxe (1 in 100 chance)
- An enchantment table (1 in 250 chance)
- Mob spawner (1 in 500 chance)
- Pet chicken (1 in 1,000 chance)
- Creeper head (1 in 10,000 chance)

A pet chicken is a chicken which follows you around and sticks with you the whole time until you do /pet remove. You can activate the chicken as many times as you like by doing /pet chicken. Once you activate the chicken it will follow you around and the things you can do with it are:

- Wear it on your head
- Ride on it
- Make it a baby chicken

These pets are enabled once you get lucky whilst voting (ONLY chicken) or if you get a donor rank you can get certain pets as you move up the ranks of donor.

Every once in a while there is a vote party and to make one of these happens, 200 people need to vote for the server. To see how many votes we need left you can do /vp and to help accumulate votes you need to vote on the two voting websites. To get the link in game for the voting websites do /vote. Once a drop party starts you will get either /both of the two rewards: Voter crate keys and grass. The number of keys/grass is randomized.

Donor ranks? What are they?

Donor ranks are ranks in which you donate the server money and you can get special perks in-game. You can have a look at the Donor Perks and their abilities in Skyblock | Welcome

How do you make a Cobblestone generator?
You can go to /warp noobspawn to find out how to make one.

Rules and Punishments on Skyblock.net
Every server has rules and so does this one. Without rules many things bad things could happen. I am going to go through EACH and EVERY rule in detail to prevent you from getting banned. I will also go through punishments and ways of getting un-banned on Skyblock.net.

Rules

No griefing - Do not wreck another person's island.
No stealing - Do not take items from another person's islands when they did not give you permission.
No scamming - Do not lie to other people about what you are trading. Keep to the deal that is made. (If someone has done a bad deal with you and you both agreed on it then that is NOT considered as scamming).
No advertising - Do not give out an IP to a server randomly or say about another server in chat. (If a friend asks you for an IP of your server then that is OK to tell them it and it does NOT brake this rule).
No killing others - No NOT kill others in no PvP zones. Currently there are no PvP zones in .NET. This includes braking a block under someone who is AFK on your island and it includes skincomps where you release the people into the void.
No disrespecting others - Treat people as if you wish to be treated.
No disrespecting the server - Do not say bad things about the server. If you do not like the server then simply leave.
No cursing/swearing - Simple, do not swear.
No spamming on the server - Want to know what SPAM stands for? Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Don't do them. Don't repeat a message you have already said. It is annoying. Also make sure you keep to one message per chat page.
Do not
No caps locking - Make sure most of the sentience is in lower case letters.
No fake messaging - Do not post fake messages in chat.
No island farming - Do not continuously make a new island just to get it's resources and then leave the resources on a friends island.
Do not trade illegal-to-trade items - Do not trade items that are illegal to trade. This includes:
- Dirt
- Sand based items (Sand, Sandstone, Smooth Sandstone, Chiseled Sandstone, Stairs Sandstone, TNT) Glass products are legal to trade on .NET
- Silverfish Spawn Eggs
- Steve and Wither Skull Heads
- Buckets (All types of buckets)
- Sponge
- Bedrock
- Podzol
Do not own illegal-to-own items - Do not own items that are illegal to own. This includes:
- Ores
- Overmax Enchant Items
- Duped/Glitch Items
- Staff Heads (Excluding Cyp, Crew and, JeffCiv)
Do not /nick abuse (Donors) - Do not abuse your ability to /Nick
Do not use illegal hack clients - Do not use illegal hack clients. Some hack clients are allowed.

Hacks allowed everywhere:
-Sprint
-NoRender
-Day
-Waypoints
-AutoWalk
-Derp
-Sneak
-X-Ray
-NoSwing
-AutoFish
Only acceptable on your own island
-ChestFinder
-AutoMine
-Nuker
-AutoTool
-Rapid Fire
-FastBreak/FastPlace
-Build
-Kill aura - Same as Aimbot and AutoMine.

Do not use inappropriate skins/names/builds - Simple, do not use skins/names/builds which are racist, pornographic or anything offensive.
Use common sense - If it is illegal to do in the real world then don't do it in Minecraft (ex. pedophilia, hacking etc.)

Although it does depend on the moderator who is dealing with your case, this is what usually mods would kick/mute/temp-ban/ban for:

What moderators kick for:
- Spamming (1 message per chat page.
- Caps (Half the sentence or more in caps)
- Sexual references (Someone saying something inappropriate in chat)
- Swearing/Not G-rated language
- Inappropriate comments/rudeness (Comments that are mean and should not be said)
- Insulting (Insulting other people)
What moderators mute for:
- Spamming
- Caps
- Sexual references
- Swearing/Not G-rated language
- Inappropriate comments/rudeness
- Insulting[/SPOILER]
What moderators temp-ban for:
- Minor looting
- Animal Killing
- Scamming
- Lying
- Killing other players
- Major spamming (Spamming again once received warning)
- Caps (Using caps again once received warning)
- Swearing/Not G-rated language (Swearing again once received warning)
- Major insulting
- Sexual skins/references
What moderators ban for:
- Advertising (Advertising a server)
- Major Looting
- Consistent insulting/rudeness/sexual references
- Consistent killing other players
- Consistent scamming
- Island Farming
- Fly hacking
- Illegal trading

I thought there were Donor 400's... but where do you find them in the shop?? Also what are their perks??

No but I'm pretty sure their donor400 kit is op and they get all the other kits like (spawner,wool,wood,etc)
