Pretty Simple, you issue the command you purchase the equivalent of 30 levels (1395xp). Not +30 Levels because from 30 to 60 is actually more expensive to level up than 0 to 30. The pros of this feature would be: * It would act as another money sink. * Less reliance on mob farms to gain XP, which overall induce lag on the server. * If you die it's a quick way to get XP levels, without again depending on "other" XP farms. I suggest the price could be something around 5k to 10k in-game balance.
Whilst I agree that this would be a great feature, I feel its bringing the server closer to being fully p2w. Encouraging players to purchase irl ranks etc for the command If quest points offered a larger xp bundle that could be an option, seeing how quest points are in game for everyone and can't be bought from the irl store. Xp bottles can already be bought cheap from the exo in game shop gui, and there are plenty of other ways to gain xp fast in game already. My animal spawner farm can earn you 70+ levels very easily from half hours sesh, and you can sell all of the drops for profits. You could collect mob loot sold by other players very cheap to use on grindstone, which give lots of xp. Mob farms are strenuous on the server sure, but until the new hostile spawners are released flush mobfarms are always going to be a thing. Players need hostile drops just as much as they need their xp. Highrollers also keep their xp when they die, so that already is a p2w feature. I'd support this if it were in the quest points shop as a buy able reward, you can spend say 4 quest points (entirely doable every day) To get your 30 levels. Though as a standalone command I feel would takeaways from players who's income depends on xp farms
It's meant to be in-game balance, not real world money. And it's mean to be a command accessible to all players, not just particular ranks. The price has to be something where it can be an alternate option, but not replace every single existing path. It can't also be too expensive where it's simply ignored. Most islands don't charge for using their mob farms, but I guess they do want the visitor's presence for keeping chunks loaded. And you're right there is a bottle of enchanting for $2500. But If one bottle gives about 7 xp, and we need 1395xp from 0 to 30. That's about 200 bottles. At that price that sums up to: $500,000 for 0 to 30. A bit excessive? So maybe this concept could easily be obtained by simply lowering the price of bottles of enchanting. EDIT: Adding a little more math. If you want to top your level from 27 to 30, with the current price: (1395 - 1089) / 7 = 44 bottles (aprox.). 44 x 2500 = $110k If each bottle was reduced from $2500 --> $50: 200 Bottles would be $10k 44 bottles would be $2.2k I think those would be more fair prices for topping off, and going all the way from o to 30. But give or take depending on feedback from other players.
Support for this solution. It would also be interesting if you could bottle your own exp if you wanted to sell it to others.
