    A Guide to the Nether!

I have noticed that many players seem to struggle with the Nether. Some people spend so much time on Skyblock that they don't understand the basics of Minecraft survival! On top of that, the Nether has been slightly altered from the Minecraft vanilla.

How do I get to the Nether?
Option 1: The first option you have and the easiest for new players is to use someone else's portal, Feel free to come to my island using /visit Evux if you're in need of a portal!

Option 2: The second option would be to make your own portal, If you go to /warp trade you should be able to buy ender chests that you can break for 8 obsidian per chest (You will need a total of 12 obsidian) this does mean your going to have to spend 30 grass worth of ender chests to get this to work, so for some players this option is a bit too pricey! Once you have the materials you will need to go to your island and make a portal with a dimension of 4×5. (You can also remove the corner one's if you want to save some obsidian)

What does the Portal Settings do?
If you do not know what the portal setting is it is an option to either give players permission or remove the permission for players to use your Nether Portal, You can turn this off/on using /settings, You will then see a GUI, if you hover over the little Nether-rack icon you will either see a tick or a cross. The tick next to it means players will be able to use your portal and the cross means it will send the player to spawn, you can toggle it by simply clicking the little Netherrack Icon.

how do I get back to my island?

To get back to your base/island all you have to do is either /is or /home (Portals do not bring you back to your island)

What can you do in the Nether?
Kill Mobs: The Nether has many mobs including Ghast's, Zombie Pigmen and of course Blazar's
Pvp: pvp is enabled in the Netherlands of both parties have /pvp enabled
Mining: There are some items that are either easier to get in the Nether or only possible via the Nether, some of these items include of:

    What should I bring?
    - Diamond Pickaxe (With Efficiency 5)

    - Iron/Stone Sword (Just in case you run into some mobs!)

    - Food (In the Nether Hunger goes down really quick, food is essential)

Thank you for reading my guide! If you have anything you would like me to add or remove please let me know! This guide is far from perfect as the Nether was just released and this guide will probably have plenty mistakes!
