What did they do again? I know noterics attempted to destroy every map art on the server… Anyways, I hope they are forgiven in the eyes of God, but not skyblock.
Overall in a serious message, Most permanent bans I think should stay the way they are as they supposed to be permanent and the staff making sure that the offender doesn't come back to the server ever again. However there are a bit of people out there like that could be considered in order to be around again as they could have done so much to the community as in help and the fun they had before the incident they did which lead to their fate of being permanently banned. Sure the incident involving map arts was terrible, but I didn't think a punishment that would be used that is for people who are no longer welcome here like repeated offenders or a IRL threat to a player/staff.
I agree to second chances assuming the person has still continued to interact positively with the community, on forums on discord whatever... Some permanently banned players have not done so and I believe shouldn't be given free access to a second chance. Calidre, Eric, Omar and ca1 have all shown remorse and still stuck themselves with the community interacting positively over 6 months, so I think should be given a second chance. But I don't think this should apply to every perm banned player.
In my eyes their contribution to the server and the severity of the incident seriously didn’t equate to the punishment. Ive seen far worse done by more repeat offenders and yet they’re either not permed, or took multiple severe incidents to get permed. These guys spend literally almost every day playing the server, almost all of them giving back to the community in some way, do one stupid thing (that wasn’t even that severe, i mean cmon you fixed the issue in less than 24 hours lol, which on this server, is quite fast) and get permed. Honestly i don’t think i’ll ever be able to figure out how this server hands out perm bans, the criteria for it seems to change almost every other perm ban.
Lol just make a ban appeal, if it gets denied then it gets denied. Ban appeals are there as second chances, not just unbanning because the community voted for it.

A million valid points isn’t going to change the fact you still need to get unbanned through a ban appeal. It’s the people that I’ve seen be toxic that disagree with me too which says a lot.
Drogo doesn’t believe these guys will be looking to hit the map limit again but given that won’t be a risk after the server updates, Drogo thinks any unbanning would happen after the update if at all. Drogo believes they have paid their dues. Interesting fact: Drogo’s island alone contains enough iron to hit this limit!! Bring on 1.19.2

Who said anything about their character? I'm just saying from what I've seen with my own eyes on these forums they're just toxic jokesters and it's ironic the thread isn't 'serious' and they're commenting on it disagreeing with everyone. My main point has been said so I'll leave it at that. If you want unbanned make an appeal that's the only way, joke or not.
Just to add on to what NotErics said, no one was toxic to say and disagreeing with your post says nothing… You made a bad point, people disagreed with you. The ban appeal system is not for second chances, if it was they wouldn’t deny appeals of players that have truly changed. To add on to what you just said, valid points in this type of thread certainly do make a difference. imo you are being rather sad in this situation, disagreeing with a post that is wrong doesn’t make you a toxic joker. Totally misunderstood anything I said but okay. Other than false bans, ban appeals are definitely there for second chances. I never said it 'was' for second chances I said they're there for it, as an option. I could care less if people disagree with me or anything on these forums tbh. I apologise if I came off the wrong way and my post wasn't 'wrong' no opinions are 'wrong' lol plus those players' have a past of being toxic.
