I hope the server doesn't go into 1.9,
This is because 1.9 is known as the 'Combat Update.' If it does get updated many people will want a PvP arena because of different weapons and shields.
Many people want PvP at the moment but as said, Skyblock is not a PvP server.

Comment down below if you think the server should go into 1.9 or should not.

 

Searge says there's still issues. I wouldn't expect 1.9 out as soon as it's being hyped. They still need to fix the new command blocks. Don't forget to name a creeper Dinnerbone and give it a hug.

1.9 will take a while id imagine, as you saw 1.8 took FOREVER lol
pvp, aint ever coming back. dun worry bout that lol
if it did, itd probably be a small arena where you use a command to enter (like the old mob arena did), and hopefully they code in to auto turn off god and fly.
if they cant, still rules- you get banned for fly, god or hacks in pvp arena

 

Please don't go into 1.9. PvP arena is completely un necessary.

 

The 1.9 update is basically just a PvP mod added to vanilla Minecraft. Personally I am not a fan, nevertheless if the server does update to it, I would believe that many players would enjoy it and many players would not enjoy it. In the end, it all up to the owner and admin.

I hope they don't add this update on any big servers, for me it ruins pvp. I don't really want to see:
**COME TO MY SHEILD SHOP** -/visit me- spammed in chat either.

 

This update skyblock wise.. wouldn;t help and most people would beg for a pvp arena.
Shield Shops shouldn't be a thing, just request to get your banner on a shield god..
Old pvp is gone :/

But.. end update and grass path way with new arrows and lingering potions aren't bad..

In the end, Minecraft starting losing its main group around 1.6 :/

 

GalaxyBlueMoon said it's pretty much a modpack coming into vanilla minecraft. I hate it; yeah, looks epic, but it's just a bunch of fluff to be completely honest.

With custom cooldown,s effects and attacks.

Welp, now we have over 2000 different items being added.

 

However,
1.9 is only good for Survival Singleplayer, if you still do that.

since its only for pvp skyblock is not adding pvp (probaly) and for the spam eh. We should have a filter
At least make it playable in 1.9

 

At least you can still go into profile options in the launcher and change your Minecraft to older versions. I have a feeling I will be doing this a lot.

 

I hope the 1.9 update never gets added. Honestly, I wish the 1.8 update was never added either.

With the 1.8 update, came:
1. Island Protection. Honestly, I can see why this was added, but I hate it. It makes things harder, you have to /trust which is incredibly annoying.
2. PwnFilter In Messages. This is absolutely unnecessary. Some people (like me) like to swear in their messages. Plus, messages are supposed to be private, and mods even have social spy.
3. NoCheat. This is horrible. We can't type commands twice.
4. '!!1!1!!!!!!1! BANNER SHOP COME COME /visit ILikeHotGuys!!1!11111' Pretty self explanatory. Skyblock was fine without banners.

Just imagine what would happen when 1.9 comes.
