To be perfectly honest, I typically swing by and pick up a latte from Starbucks. It's such a time saver in the morning. If I DO brew it at home, though, I prefer Wolfgang Puck's arabica blend or Douwe Egberts. But that's perhaps just because I've grown up around those. And yourself?
We do. It's very common over here, in fact. I've just only ever tried their instant coffee, and I was not a fan, so I never buckled up to give their actual beans a chance.
Oh, good doesn't cut it! It's very much like Dunkin' Donuts' coffee. It's not quite Starbucks, but it's good.
Well, I'm an author and editor, so I spend a large portion of my days both writing and editing articles. In addition I work freelance in corporate identity and branding, so I play around with computer graphics and illustrations
Oh, that sounds really interesting! Well, let me know if you ever have a draft in hand. I'd be happy to take a look!
As for advice, I've got so much I could run off my mouth for the next forty-eight hours, but to give you some advice out of the ordinary "manage your time and map out your story before you begin", here's something I find helps me a lot:
Take in all your daily experiences.
Make something of them. When you sit down to write you have a rough idea of how you want it to sound and feel, but see if you can draw on the experiences you've had through the day. Write in something you saw, a feeling you felt, something you smelled. Anything. And as accurately as you can. It helps you live yourself into the story, and makes writing it in a realistic and intriguing way so much easier.
