Okay, when I was younger, my brother and I lived on a big property, and cats were a major problem. Like feral cats. So we used to put cat food into a bird cage and fill the cage up with cats and close the gate to the cage.

After the gate was filled, our dad took us to the river and we would through the cage into the river and drown all the cats. After this we would dump all the bodies and do it again. Sad story, but these cats were feral and a major pest.
