Oh, Archer: I'm doing a weird thing, I'm applying to go to two universities at the same time. It's annoyingly complicated. Almost as if they just want you to go to one!
Nono, not applying for more than one, applying to GO to more than one. Like having to trek back and forth, being enroled at both universities, doing some courses at one and some at the other.
What are you talking about? It does depend, very much so in fact. Depends on what career you want to do, which covers how much debt you may have if the scholarship(s) doesn’t cover most, the return investment of the institution, etc. Just because you may obtain a scholarship like I have, doesn’t mean you could get yourself out financial debt which comes with the cost of going to a fancy, name branded university.
What I meant when I said it doesn't depend wasn't that it doesn't matter, just that it doesn't depend on what's said here. Australia's tertiary education system isn't the same as America's: it's still expensive, but it costs about 7.5k per year (unless you're doing medicine). It's designed to endevour to *not* put you in debt. Prestigious universities aren't allowed to charge more: that stuff is regulated.
My parents are supporting me through my first degree. If I want to continue, I'll take whayever scholarship I can get, whether it's a Rhodes or to a little known uni in New Zealand. If I don't get one, I will work until I can support myself through another degree.
The first degree I want to do is only done at one uni, the second degree is only done at the other. Besides, I'm not in a rush to get through uni (I'm only 16 after all), the more subjects I do the better.
Actually yes. How on earth are you supposed to respond to that? Either I say thanks and sound like an a** "Why yes I am, plebian, thank you for noticing" or I lie "actually I started school earlier" which is what I do 90% of the time. Besides, compliments are less than worthless if they're addressimg something you can't change.
Yeah, I am like being short. There's no point commenting on it.
Also jeeez stop fightimg you two, Gumo I can defend myself, Lanius, learn to be less argumentative. Deleting comments is a pain on my phone, lol
Ik, but I've spent 80% of the last few days sleeping, my laptop's wi-fi is broken and there are no ethernet cables near my bed, so I've been using my phone.
