No, you get warned for the first offense. Then you're perms removed for like 30 days then perm I'm sure. 1 day insta ban is way too harsh.

You must not because you get a damn warning first. Never have I seen someone banned for rate abuse, the worst I've seen is permanent rate perms removal.

Mabye, but you don't get an instant ban. With rate abuse, you always get a warning pm from a mod for the first instance.

And getting a PM first isn't always the case.

I'm sure the rate abuse wasn't serious, as the player knew of rate abuse and didn't know that they did it. Also, they don't have a history they joined a couple days ago.

Well if your friend wants to get unbanned, tell them to appeal or they'll stay banned and your issue over this wouldn't matter. Handle it in a mature manner instead of complaining about it when it clearly won't do anything unless you actually pm a mod or something and talk about it lol

Its a one day ban, the appeal would probably take longer than that. :/

You don't know if it's right or not. Do you even know how extreme the rate abuse was? Or are you assuming that it wasn't extreme at all?

I talked to the person. They know of rate abuse and know they rated a couple of messages before they were banned, but mentioned nothing about lots and lots of ratings. I know it's not right to get banned for a day for that.

At the end of the day, bans fall under warning points. Some mods are harsher when it comes to bans than others.

My point IS that they shouldn't be. It was an unjust ban and that's the end of it.

My point is that there is no use constantly complaining about it on the users profile or on yours because you won't accomplish anything if so. Try doing it the right way instead of assuming the Mods are terrible people lmao.
