What does your budget look like? I have a Rebel t3i that I purchased on black friday. There are definitely some better cameras and also some cheaper alternatives to the t3i.

Hmm. If I were you, I'd pick up a rebel t3 (not the t3i) and then save up for a better lens than the kit standard. Because photography, really, is all about the lens, not the actual camera body.

Just got the T5 at Costco. This baby is fire.

I'm thinking of getting the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM when I get the chance. The 75-300mm and the 28-55mm were included in the kit. Hmu if you have other suggestions
