Its because you have the setting "Spawn on connect" which makes it so you go to the server's spawn. .Net and .Org's spawn doesn't let you speak when you first log on due to spam bot prevention, If you can do /home you will be find to chat.
If you turn off spawn on connect in minechat settings next time you log on computer and log off it should spawn you where you last logged off.
