Do you happen to know how I could tell if my hard drive stopped working?

Well, it depends what you mean by hard drive. Is this the one inbuilt into your computer, or is it a USB one?

I can't access anything. It turns on, but the screen stays black. The light signifying the hard drive is no longer on either. I thought I remember that one being on before.

Hm, if you have a spare monitor lying around try plugging your laptop into that, because I believe the computer should technically be able to boot, just not get very far. If that gets you nowhere, see a computer specialist or get a new computer :/ Sorry I couldn't help very much x3

I tried hooking it up to another monitor, but still nothing happened. Thanks though. C:
