A little about me: Hi. My name is Nightcore and I'm 15 years old. Ive been playing skyblock for about 2 or so years and found out i fell in love with this server. I look up to most of the mods and donors. The community in general is just so friendly and nice it feels unreal. I'm a really talkative person and i play about 5-6 times a week. I'm really friendly and love to help others. If I'm in a bad mood I'm usually a little quieter than usual. I love to make people smile and laugh. Skyblock to me is where I can find my second "family". People take care of each other no matter the issue. I am obsessed with anime and ship people like there is no tomorrow. I am really passionate about community service and helping others that need it. It makes me feel better about my self that I can help someone that needs it. My In Game Name is Nightcore666 I live in the Eastern Time Zone The formal language i speak is English. I can speak a little Japanese and Spanish I have unfortunately have been banned. When i first started skyblock i had no idea what i was doing. Someone asked me if I would trade a bucket with them and me being unsure of the rules at the time said yes. I currently know the rules or skyblock and whats the do's and dont's are. I think I would be a great mod because: Harassment/Bullied: As long as I've been playing skyblock, I have noticed how if someone didn't help or listen to another player, then they would threaten you or say something that could hurt their feelings. Bullying in my point of view and most peoples point of view is not tolerable at any circumstance. If there is a problem you should bring it up to a staff and they would be able to help you. Sometimes its player abuse and by that they threaten to hurt you or kill you and that might be a joke for them but in some people's cases could be really scary for them. I want to stop people from making others feel uncomfortable or safe. Spam: I've noticed that when people are trying to advertise for shops, casinos, or buying/trading items, they will tend to spam with capital letters, just spam in general or spam message a specific player. I want to help prevent as much spam as I can Illegal Trading: I know the rules of skyblock. Sometimes people tend to forget what is allowed to be traded and what isn't. In the end they will get banned and most didn't even know it was illegal. I don't want new people that are just joining to get banned for something that they just learned. Or if they haven't played in a while. I would be all for helping them with the rules of skyblock. The Do's and Dont's. Mods: Ever since I figured out the ranks and mods/staff, I began to look up to the upper staff. They seem to know what their doing 99.9% of the time. They are so fun and it seemed like a really cool thing to be apart of. Non-Donors: Some non-donors need a little push to help them get in the mood to build a fantabulous island. Or just need an extra hand to figure out what would look good on their island and what they could build in the future. Helping build for other people is so much fun because I get to build something cool that the person can enjoy while they play. Helping could also include getting wood, building that involves flying, questions about the server, etc. Helping: Sometimes people loose their items accidentally or they were greiefed/looted. I would help them regain what they lost and help rebuild anything that was damaged. Friends: I have many friends, acquiescence, fam's, etc on skyblock. I love everyone so much and I'm sure most love me back. However I've witnessed a time when a mod's friend only temporarily banned them for something they would regularly ban them until an appeal is made. As much as I hate being that person that tells them they did something wrong or they broke the rules, I think addressing them so they know and having them explain why they did it is more effective then ignoring it. Trustworthy: I see my self as a trustworthy player. I don't see any point of scamming people to be "cooler" or "richer". Its just a game to have fun in and enjoy your self. I'm honest about what I say to people and answer any question's truthfully. Honest: As I said in the trustworthy part of my application, I will give my very best and honest answer to any question thrown my way. Honesty and trust can bring you a long way and I feel that I am trust worthy and I most certainly am honest. Being Fair: No matter who the person is, I don't hesitate to help them if they ever have a question or just need help in general. Here's a schedule of me week: Monday: 3-5 hours Tuesday: 3-5 hours Wednesday: 2-4 hours Thursday: 3-5 hours Friday: 5-7 hours Saturday: 4-5 hours Sunday: 3-4 hours Please note that i have school Monday through Friday and sports after school 2-3 times a week Yes i have had past experience. Ive been a mod 4-5 times on friend servers and I have also been co-owner on 3 servers and currently a mod and coo-owner on 3 servers I'm open for any questions you have ^-^ (Another note: a lot of helping I do is in Pm's. I want to make sure they see the message so they don't get kicked or so they can get feed back from any question or statement they have previously made)
Neutral because you just talk online never help. This is well written but get through at least 1 month of forums before applying. Use only 1-3 colors and use bold, italics, and die down on your underlines. Also please follow the correct format like this: Time Zone: EST Banned: I have unfortunately been banned because... So on and so on. We are in the same time zone and I see you on a LOT. You also sound too childish for a 15 year old. I think you have a long way to go before you might earn mod. ~~Good Luck!!~~ ~~AgentDogz~~
You just made a forums account. Wait a while before applying. I can barely read your application. You have way too much color in it. You BARELY help out in-game. I only ever see you just talking to people. No support.
Talia_ thanks for your feed back. I just want to say that I have had a forums account for about 6 months then i forgot my password. But your feed back is helpful. thanks 3
Support! You are a very nice and helpful player in game, of all donor100's I hope you get mod because you are super nice and chill, and aren't a buttole to everyone *cough *cough *(in sick voice)* Steell...
"Wait a while before applying" I applied when I first made a forums account. I don't think it matters how long a player has had a forums account if they are helpful and know all of the rules. Anyway, neutral. Try to use less colours and do not use any bright colours as it may hurt somebody's eyes. Add a bit more detail. This isn't necassacry if the quality is amazing. Quality over quantity. I still think your application is missing a bit of detail though. Try to be active in game and on the forums. It is necessary to be active to keep the server safe and fun for all the players. ^-^ Help out in game by watching the chat and answering questions players may have. Try to help out on the forums, moderators also have to help out on the forums. Help out on the forums by reporting anything you think that is not right and answer questions in the help section. Put in the format for applying, it makes it so the application is easier to read. Good luck.
Usually people say 'Wait before applying' because they want the person to get used to the forums, and involved in the community.. Well, Haii c;. First off, I'm staying neutral for now. This is because, -I don't really see you help around in-game.. I only see you chatting with friends(Which isn't a bad thing, but you'd need to help aswell) -Add more information. We'll need to know more about you. -You should add the questions from the format. As Melly said, it would be easier to read~ Good Luck!
hey guys i talked to Nightcore in game and he said that he lost his old forums account, he isn't new to forums so disregard that he is a new member, he isn't. He is more equipped than you think.
Well, I've known you for quite some time, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be prejudice or anything. I'm going to give you an objective opinion of what I really think of you and applying for moderator. You rarely help, you're just in chat having fun with friends. Moderating isn't a joke, it's serious in every way. Giving free enchants doesn't really mean a lot as stated in a pinned thread in the applications section Your main area that should have more detail about being a moderator and why you're fit for the position lacks detail and quality. I have to force my eyes to read it, so I suggest making key points as to why you'd be a great moderator. The grammar isn't the best, and I understand that you will talk differently in game than applications, but this is pretty serious. I don't really see you taking this seriously. I feel like your friends are "supporting" you just because they're your friends, but I hope that's not the case. Good luck ^^
From what I've seen you're a great person in general, however I just never see you helping out. You are pretty active on the server, but you just talk in chat with your friends. Also, try to add more to your application. Neutral for now. Good Luck!
Thanks Macbook and everyone that gave me feed back. a lot of helping i do is in messages so its not a whole lot of helping in public chat which i understand. And i just want to point out im a girl and no i told all my friends to please be kinda harsh so i can do my all best to be fit for this if it ever came up
Ok, so no support because: -You lack detail in the, "Why I Should Be Mod" section. -I don't like how you said that non-donors tend to forget what is allowed to be traded because you are pointing out something that isn't true. I have seen many donors like, donor25, donor50, donor100, and skygods get banned for illegal trading -Never seen you online -Never seen you in-forums -You used too much bold -You need to add italics, and underline. -Giving free enchants - Never say that in your application. It is an invalid reasons on why you should be moderator -Grammar is not okay This "no support" can change into a "support" if you change in these ways that I stated above. ~Goodluck~ ~Wolverine~
