Okay but has she done any wrong since then? Not really... She is being a mod. She is making sure people understand the rules. I am sorry for blowing up, but you really make it look like you dont think these servers deserve any of the mods they have.
But she is rejecting the fact that people make mistakes. She's made mistakes, but yet didn't face the consequences she is saying others should have to face.
Locking thread. It's becoming too argumentative and.. flamey. We can see your post and if need be we will address what needs to be addressed. If you disagree with this action, report it and we will reconsider this lock.
It's not really a flame war, it's more so discussing about everything. Flaming responses were deleted, but please refrain from being argumentative in the future or it will be re-locked.
Smh, just smh. You opinion is not a fact, nor are others. It's not hard to assume what people talk about, it really isn't. I just find this funny due to ban threats I've seen from you and a non full mod making skype chats in order to not have 'leaks'...
No cruel and unusual punishment or excessive bail is in the Bill of Rights. Which are amendments to the constitution which weren't ratified until a couple years after the constitution was written. If words like "scrub" from someone you don't even know personally offend you... just.... *facepalm*
kaybubs are you just sucking up to Cypriot so you have a better chance at mod? Or are you trying to piss off other players?
As Lemonade said, lets not get fired up too much anymore or this well-intentioned thread could be locked.
I don't know about all the other comments, but I just wanted to throw in my opinion about servers. When we start out, it's like entering a new world. We're all just new, and lost, and maybe a bit lonely c: But I've come to the realization, that these people that you eventually meet, become your friends. And it's crazy to think that people you meet over a screen, can become so close to you. And as I type this, I am speaking to a few of those internet friends. It's not even a community, but instead it's like a family. And it's absolutely wonderful, to find your place in that family However, taking a person away from their family or community, is kinda done on their own. If we were to allow the server to have no rules, imagine the chaos. If they wish to be a part of something, they of course get a chance, but that chance is only destroyed by themselves. But when you stated the part about a curse word here and there, or maybe one or two arguments, I have to agree with that 100%. Although, we want to keep the chat as friendly as possible, since there are younger kids, a word may slip once or twice, and it's totally okay for that to happen. But when it starts to get out of control, that's when it's perfectly alright for a person to be kicked out of that family. We have to respect other players, and we have to make sure that it's safe for them to play as well. For the arguments part, well most staff are there to put an end to arguing. That's kinda their job to keep chat clean. But y'know it's always expected to have one or two silly argument. Awesome thread, and well said
Meh, tbh now sleepy. I'm tempted to make one of these threads, the display of ignorance and abuse of power is just becoming overwhelming. A smod on ts, decided by his own matter, that a publicly known matter was suddenly something for "in game mods" only to know and hear about. So, despite the joining perms, on a channel all TS mods can join. I get moved, kicked, and banned for an hour, over a mods own ignorance and thinking he has jurisdiction over a publicly known matter. When the reality of the situation, if the public known matter that he claimed was "secret/private", was supposed to be for staff only, it wouldn't deal with the mods but server owners. Smh, the legit ignorance.
WHAT. THE ACTUAL. WHAAAAAA. SKRUB? HOW THE FK DID THAT HAPPEN. Wow that's terrible!!!! "skrub". wtf Also Rayleen, no offense but that is a terrible argument and it sounds like you just want to be powerful etc.
