I've been hurt from people on this server, and people have hurt me. And I've kept telling myself it's just a game, until it wasn't 'just a game.' Skyblock isn't just a community either. It's an experience. It could be a life changing part of your entire existence. So not just to moderators, also to the players. Because is it really worth it to 'troll' a little, swear a little, but ruin everything else?

Just saying I am from Rivendell, so I mean it is bound to be a bit different.

    simple way to put this
If being on this server means to much to you, that you want to continue to hang with your friends and enjoy your time you follow the rules here, you don't test the boundaries and you keep out of trouble. In the end you do not get banned for no reason, no matter the action you took. It may be trivial but still a reason. When I joined I did not want to break the rules because I wanted to play on the server as long as possible. I didn't test the rules so I never got banned.

It is not the mods fault for being too harsh, it is the players fault for doing the wrong things. We are here to uphold the rules, players are supposed to follow them.
All I hear are mods being blamed because they are punishing and less of people truly taking responsibility for what they have done.

    No.

This is where I draw the line. You are wrong.

I remember when you were demoted. Remember that? You got all hopped up on whatever, did some things you probably shouldn't have, and woke up in the morning living a nightmare. You *begged* and *pleaded* for that position back, even though it specifically said in the rules not to. Remember that? You were so heartbroken and desperate that you broke rules to even have a *chance* at getting back to it.

    Remember that?

Now, if you would kindly take your pessimistic tyrannical attitude somewhere else, it'd be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Oh, also, remember the whole "I can't breathe" movement, the Black Lives Matter? Yeah, excessive force for a nonviolent crime, or as the US Constitution calls it, "cruel and unusual punishment," is not okay in real life. Why is it okay here?

    Don't want to be banned?

    Don't break the rules.

Every mod has their own way they handle things. Some stricter than others.

As a previous mod yourself, you should know that, despite the arguing I have heard of.

We cater to everyone, not just the donor100s and their friends.

If there was a problem, we'd address it amongst ourselves, but we are all content with the way things are.

I wrote this passage *as a moderator*. This is what I believed and how I moderated. I encourage you to do the same.

There's literally a rule that says "Use common sense." Any mod can enforce whatever punishment they want on any offense, even if it isn't an offense. I was kicked today for calling my friend a "skrub," with a kick message of "Don't call people bad names." Excuse me?

Also, see "I can't breathe." Excessive force when a petty crime is committed is unjustified.

I moderate just fine my own way.
And you are no longer a moderator. You do not know the discussions we have.

If you were a moderator, you'd know whether we see this as an issue or not, and whether or not we are addressing it.

A bit cheesy and overly dramatic, but yeah, agreed.
