    Let me reference this line:
    to those of you who likes to repeat "you don't understand what is to be an admin...". Well, I do. I am system administrator and I know very well the essence of such a work. That argument won't work with me.

    But you dont understand what its like to be a skyblock admin... So it doesn't matter what admin you are, unless you are a skyblock admin or have been one, on the same level as Cyp, you have little clue. You cannot compare your work to his unless you know what all Cyps jobs are.

    Everyone goes around acting like they know what Cyp does and acts as if they could do much better without proper understanding. I notice this is common of the older members of the community.

    But heres what we do know. Both Crew and Cyp handle the support emails that come in and donation issues. Cyp has 4 very active servers that he takes care of. He also looks at suggestions to better the server, prepare events like drop parties, fix and patch major bugs, assist mods in certain aspects, promote mods, implement maps, and look after a dozen different things. All while he lives his own life, plays other games and enjoys himself because his life cannot revolve around skyblock much like all staff on any major server. There is most likely more he does and i wouldn't know.

    Things get done the best they can with two people. Crew obviously has his reasons for why there are not more people to assist in running this server and Cyp has reasons why things do not get sorted as fast as we would like.

    Understandably it gets frustrating sitting back and watching while things don't get done and getting the complaints... the endless complaints about the way this server is run. And the fact we as mods cannot do much about things. I have seen these same complaints since I was a tmod. They are difficult to address. But If you want an effective way to talk to cyp, you find him in game you as a mod to pass it on that is in his timezone preferably and you have a lot of patience as you have discovered.

    tl;dr? Unless you are Cyp or Crew or anyone close to the admins you have no clue what goes on and the work they put in behind the scenes for this server. While it can be frustrating that things dont happen as we like, consider there are two people for thousands of players over 4 busy servers and hundreds of kids and difficult players to deal with. I think its time to hear less complaining about Cyp and more thinking about how to better this server.

    Short answer: I do and did administer Minecraft servers, Skyblock-type included. So yes, I know that can mean much work.

    Please, before you state anything about me, just ask, OK? No need to state anything false.

    Also, I think there's no need to repeat the arguments again and again. All proposals have already been posted. CypriotMerks needs help, that for sure - trusted and qualified co-administrators, so to say. With all due respect to administrators/staff in whole, it can't justify many months of being just ignored (postponed, forgotten etc etc - the exact reason isn't that important).

    I have to agree its hard to remain patient as I have a pending request. Obviously we all care about the server enough to get things fixed or ask for cyps help so support. Te one thing that gets me is its hard to draw a fine line for contacting cyp and trying to get his attention and spamming him. At the least maybe make a thread on a tutorial how to contact cyp and not be overlooked while not bugging him while he is busy. @akril Krissy_ cypriotmerkz

    Cyp gets a lot of messages. And I mean A LOT of messages. Just the action of sifting through all the random crap in his PMs to find the important conversations probably takes hours and hours. It's just something you have to deal with and be patient with, because he has a lot to take care of.

    I don't think many are arguing he's busy. I think the original point still has valid points. If Cyp is as busy as he seems, he needs help. Someone to help sift through the numerous PMs he has to find out which are valid and important, which are duplicates, etc. I think an extra hand or two would really help. From what I recall, that was the point of the post: Finding a better way to contact the admins. In this case, it seems that getting more help for Cyp would be a plausible solution. The mods only have so much power. Several months for a reply is not very good, even for a busy Minecraft server. Getting the turnaround time down to even a month (at least for fairly important items) would really help, I think.

    Thanks for elaborating~ I agree with the fact that finding a better way to contact the admins may be more efficient for the server to deal with issues
