Recently I was looking for a new island for my alt and I was looking for a particular biome. As many know, the only way to change the biome is to leave your island by cooping with some one, wait until your old island is claimed by someone else and then take a new island in a new spot.
To speed this process, I would leave my main at my alts old island until it was claimed by another player so I knew when my alt could take a new island.
I would usually sit well above the old island so the new owners wouldn't see me when they arrived. Some times I would sit and watch them for a bit (ok, so now I sound like a weirdo). Quite often, say 2 out of 10 times, I would watch as the new owner looted all the items from the chest, take the chest, take all the dirt and sand and then just leave. (this is what I'm watching for, so not really a weirdo)
I assume they have just left a coop to farm the starter island and then take the stuff back to their coop.

I don't know if mods have the time but this seems to be a good way to find island farmers. Perhaps they are already doing it?

And why would it be effective to catch new island farmers?

as I said, about 2 in 10 that i saw did it, would be about 2 farmers every 15 to 20 minutes. maybe not worth it?

We have logblock, if a player seems suspicious they can just type a few commands, not a big deal. No support.

This really shouldn't be in suggestions because you aren't suggesting any new things to implement to the server. This is more of a discussion topic in my opinion.

I don't know, i didn't really post it to discuss it. It's just something that I noticed and thought it might be of benefit.

Logblock, if they see someone suspicious they'll either report or look farther into the problem.

It's just not really a suggestion because you can't really implement something to the server or forums with this.
