Nope, if a greenbean decided to apply then was promoted they'd get /fly for as long as they stayed a loyal builder/renovator. And what makes you think that greenies aren't loyal, they make up most of the server and I could name countless amounts of loyal greenbeans. They wouldn't be upgraded to a donor, just have access to /fly. A donor high enough would already have it so if they were to get it they'd wouldn't receive it for free (obviously) and if they resigned or were fired, they'd still remain with /fly. Also, this suggests you haven't read the suggestion properly, it clearly says that people without access to /fly would receive it for free. I suggest that you read the suggestion properly before commenting. BusterCraft1

 

I read your Suggestion. That is why I made my suggestion TO yours. I would SUGGEST that /fly is NOT part of this JOB but a REQUIREMENT to get it. I am not of the level to get /fly so this would disqualify me. But I still think that is fair.
You obviously think my suggestion is bad.
And I understand. As I would LIKE to get /fly with the opportunity to build for the server.
I do not THINK it is as likely to happen that way.
And my suggestion makes much less overhead in the applicant process for the OPs.

 

As a bonus, this would also encourage a certain subset of players to donate.

 

Well sorry about that, it looked to me as if you didn't. I don't think it's fair because not everyone's going to donate to be a builder. $50 to get /fly, but then they might not even get accepted, and also people who might have great building skills might not have $50 to spend on a server, so I thinks it's unlikely that it would increase the amount of donors. Everyone has the ability to apply for moderator, so everyone should have the fair chance of becoming a builder. Also I doubt Cyp would only let donors with /fly apply. Cyp & Crew don't not let greenies apply for mod because they're not donor and can't write in colour so there help isn't as noticed, he gives everyone a fair chance. BusterCraft1

Well, now that we have discussed it. Members all support it.
And Mods have seen it, and support it.

This would develop the server. And the server desperately needs some development.

What is the issue? "the guy in charge is too busy" is a VERY bad excuse.
