I'm friends with another island owner, and I made a storage on her island. We talk daily in game, over skype, (call too) so there is no suspicion of me being inactive. Anyways, the island owner asked for my chests to be unlocked. She asked Kerhana. So I come to my island, and I ask where tf my storage is. I was told my a coopmate it was force unlocked. SOME of the items are in a chest, though that is definetly not all of them. So here's the question: Is that moderator allowed to force unlock my chests without my permission, giving the island owner 100% acces to my stuff, the chests contained donor sand etc. too. If this is legal, hey, I can just get me people trusted, somehow get them to store stuff on my island, then kick them and ask a moderator to unlock chests, giving me free stuff? So if this is legal this can be easily abused. Note: The moderator did not move the stuff (atleast what I got) to a new chest. But the chest that was made is privated by the moderator? I was informed the moderator wasn't allowed to move it or sth.
I believe if the player in this case (you) is inactive for several months, an SMod can break the lockettes. Since you are not inactive, I think Kera should have confirmed with you before taking action.
Interesting... have you tried asking another SMod about breaking Kera's lockette? Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by staff members**
Your items may have been on another players island, but if a mod is asked to remove lockettes by the island owner, the only reason they would not be allowed to remove the lockettes is if they are rares. Your friend is the island owner, so it's best to take things up with her. Kerahna was doing her job, so unless there where rares in your chest she's not a fault for anything.
A mod will so /seen (Player Name) before breaking a lock, so if you didn't come up, they will break it.
Grass is hardly considered a rare item, and diamonds are easy to miss, I am talking about beacons, stacks of diamonds, rares. I guess it's best to let Kera respond to this.
*cough cough* Just because you're rich doesn't mean that chst is worth nothing. Invalid argument. But yeah, let kera respond.
In my opinion, no matter whether these were rares or not, people should not post these apparent 'rules' about what moderators should and should not do. I re-read the rules all the time, just so I'm not in the wrong, and nowhere in the rules it says 'Mods cannot break lockettes if they have rares' or 'Mods cannot break lockettes if the player is active'. I'm not sure where all these 'rules' have come from, but I've never heard of any of them. Can someone provide me with evidence that these rules exist? I'd be happy to correct myself, but I'm fairly sure they don't.
You're to blame. They're the island owner, they own everything on and within the island. Kerahna did the right thing.
To my kmowlegede that is not in the rules. Also, that would completely destroy the point of lockette since it is [private] and that means nobody should acces it. Idk if you're doing it on purpose or if you're unaware, but your choice of words is coming over quite rude. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
You can easily tell with logblock if it was the player's chests or not. It doesn't say anywhere in the rules about breaking lockettes if the player is inactive or active, but if the player is active then you can easily infer that the player is actively removing things from his own chests.
If she knew it would of been illegal, But she didn't. Just talk it out with your coop member to get your things back, if it doesn't work up, report them for looting
