    Hi ButtTech.

Anyway, we can totally relate, fellow asian.

Uh, yeah, these kids in america don't even care about their education(many but not all)while kids in China cant even go to school wanting to learn really bad. If you see some of the poor kids, you'll probably cry

They walk like a 3 hour walk to school over the mountains

It's like that in Vietnam too. The kids should give up their places and make room for the kids who truly deserve it. Hell, switch places with one of those Afghan girls who are risking their lives to go to school.

    "How are asians so smart"

    "nah they're just smart"

Well, the reason asians are smart is because they understand how precious school is, and doesn't think it as a prison place. They understand how hard their parents are working for them, so that they won't have a tough future.

Our parents and teachers also push us beyond our limits. If it wasn't for my parents, I would probably be one of those kids that drag themselves out of bed to go to school and do nothing. I don't see myself as smart, but I see myself as a very, very hard worker. If I want first place in that poetry recitation contest, I will fight as hard as I could to get it.

You know when I first read this I thought you were gonna be one of those d***heads that's at the top of their class and think they're smartest kid ever because they work hard. I'm really glad I read this thread and I really think you're a cool person. I really respect the fact that you don't consider yourself smart, but hard working. I know this is going to sound racist af and all the asians are about to get angry but most asian kids I meet whose parents came from their home countries are either really mean or act like a robot (what I mean by act like a robot is never talk to anyone or laugh or have fun). I think you have a really genuine personality and honestly if there were more people like you in the community it would be a lot more fun.

I'd normally contribute to such a wonderful thread. However, the first words that came to mind were as such.
