Hello and my name is nicok9 and I would like to apply for Moderator. I am currently 15 years old but turning 16 in June. My real name is Nicolas. I have played this server since 2013 and I believe I can make a difference to the server. I usually Play with my close friends.

I can speak English fluently and I can also Speak Fluent Spanish

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
I Have not been banned before, but i have been kicked by the ban hammer because of flying because there was too much lag so it thought that I was flying.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
The skyblock community is really fun to play along with. I think that sometimes, it would be easy to moderate but sometimes people can get out of control and spam about 2 chat pages. I would just give them a kick and then a warning when they come back on.

I would try my best to not let the community and the staff down. If I did, I would try to make it up by apologizing and posting daily stuff giving information and guides.

If I did become mod, I would make sure people are sticking to the rules and keeping the chat G-rated. I can be really strict at times but can get really fun at other times. I give it my best to help the chat and newbies.

I personally think the mods at the moment are doing a great job and I would love to be part of the team!
I've heard that moderating is not fun in games and all but I am up for the task. I would treat it with passion, dedication, dignity and a lot of others.

Very Committed to helping the server
Many people don't mention this, but I would just like to mention that I would be fully committed to helping the community and server. I would make sure I post recent posts on forums and be as active in-game as possible.
Patient
I see many people having trouble with certain stuff. I do my best to help them out no matter how long it takes. Being patient is a great qualification a moderator can have.
Experienced
I have been playing this server for 2 and a half years now! Over the years, I have learnt all the rules in-game and on forums. I am willing to teach it to other players and share some of my experience to me. I have made a lot of friends on this server and hope to make more. I have loved this server all this time and never regret playing it!
Active Forums-wise
Every day, I always check my new alerts on forums. I also think of what I can post and improve on. I post anything whether it be a suggestion, guide or anything else. If I'm not on forums, I am usually in-game.
Hard-Working
Usually, when I'm answering questions on the server and 5 people message me at once, I always answer one, then the next and so on. If I did miss one, I usually just answer it in chat. If I was asked a duty by one of the staff or players, I would never give up and would never let them down.
Quick to respond
Since I am a fast-typer, it is very easy to respond to questions nearly straight away. It is an advantage that I can type fast because if several people are asking me questions, I can answer quickly answer each question without letting one person down.
Respectful to the community
I am respectful to anyone no matter what the situation is. I do my best to be kind and polite to them. I would never hurt anyone's feelings. I give tips on what people can improve on in forums and in-game. I respect people's criticism as it can help me improve on something I did. I know that showing respect towards other players in needed as a moderator.
Generous
When I hear that someone recently got griefed, I ask them what had been stolen and replace as much stuff as possible. When I see someone asking for a certain item that is easy to get for me, I always give it to them for free.
Mature
I am really mature for my age since I am only 12. I don't show my emotions on the server and just stay really calm. I know what is right and wrong and what not to do on the server. Maturity is a key benefit for a moderator and I think I have it.

Honest
If I do something wrong, I know that I have to admit it. If I did do something wrong, I would apologize both in-game and on forums. I don't think I would ever lie to the server as it is easily my favorite. I have never lied to this server in 2.5 years!
Friendly
When people want to have a conversation with me, I be as friendly as possible. I never swear, call people inappropriate names and rude stuff. I be friendly to any players not matter what rank they are.
Strict
If I ever saw harmful comments such as abuse, swearing, threatening, etc, I would always punish the player and then telling him to stop. Personally, being strict is something you have to have to moderate a server. If you weren't strict, the player would not face the consequences and would most likely continue to bully.
I would never let anyway get away with nasty things.
Intelligent
I am very intelligent/smart. I had won many awards at my previous school for completing projects and all. I also would've got upgraded from year 3 to 4 but sadly, the principal wanted everyone in the same grade. I'm not sure if this is a key trait but it could be useful at times.
Consistent
Personally, I think that consistency is very important. It is a major trait a mod can have and I've got it. I can work hard at any task that has been given to me. I can consistently improve whatever I do and consistently work hard at anything.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes I have because I currently own a server but as of right now it is not active. I know what the server expects of a mod. I would show dignity into this job and wouldn't let anyone down. I am applying for mod because I want to keep the server safe and fun.

This is a great start to you application, but I do suggest adding more detail in the "Why I should be mod" section. Try to elaborate more on "why should you be a mod". Instead of just listing you qualifications, explain in detail how you are fit for that position. That is all I have to say for now.

20% support because this needs more detail. Its a good start, though and I have seen you online in-game, just not as often as on the forums. As long as you add more detail and I see you in-game, I will give you more support.

This is a pretty good start for a mod app.
They only thing that I need to see, is you need to be more active in the server, and you need to be more active on the forums. You seem new to the forums, since your heading is only Member, and you only have 9 messages.
Edit your mod app, you said in the intro that you are 15, but in the mature section, you wrote that you are only 12.

You are pretty new to the forums so try getting familiar with the community. I have seen you in-game but never helping.
I have seen you using nick abuse under the name of "Reddeh" and I've seen you having inappropriate ones such as b**b. That shows me that you are not mature enough for a mod.

It's just to show how much you think they should improve.
Sometimes, the answer isn't just a solid yes, or no.

It's like when you take a test, you don't always get a 100 or 0.
You will often got like 0-100
Such as 90, 95, 80, 85, 70, 75, etc.

 

This looks like you copied and pasted DiamondXTE's Mod Application, and did a few edits on them. This is just a no. When you are making your Mod app, you are making YOUR Mod app, not an edit of someone else's. No support. You are trying to get Mod for the title and perks ay? Not going to happen really. Well, he copied my app, (all my qualifications) and he made it seem a bit un-realistic.

 

Ha. Wow. Look at both applications. Just look at them. You'd have to be kidding me if you see any difference. Yes, he can take a look, and write something, could be similar.. but he wrote the EXACT same thing as DiamondXTE. Copying a Mod app word by word on most areas just shows how lazy someone is to make their own. If you want me to go more in depth, take it onto a PM.
