Hello, my name is Alex, but you can call me Wilbo. I've been a part of Skyblock ever since the server opened, but I've had a year and a half or so of in-activeness. However, for the past 4 or 5 months, I've been very active on the server and decided to apply for mod. This is my application and I thank you for taking the time to read it. The language I primarily speak is English, however, I have taken high school level Spanish and a course in college on Spanish.

I have never been banned on Skyblock and I don't plan on breaking any of the rules.

There are many reasons that I would like to be come a moderator, and there are many reasons I think I should become moderator.

❉ Helpfulness -
I love helping people, whether it's on Skyblock or in real life, it's what I do. It's always been a passion of mine to help others because it makes their life and my life better. Whenever I get online I attempt to help others in anyway I can. If any player is in need of help, I will do my best to assist them.

❉ Kindness -
I often try and keep a very polite tone in the way I speak and type. I'm never rude to anyone, no matter their rank. As a moderator, I would continue to have this tone of voice with people. But I also know when to be stern and serious, so people wouldn't take my kindness for a weakness in moderating.

❉ Trust -
Trust, I believe, is the most important aspect of a moderator. People need someone they can trust with the power and responsibility that is attached to being with a moderator. I believe that moderators should keep some type of secrecy from the public when it comes down to things discussed between moderators that clearly, the public shouldn't/doesn't need to know. If I become moderator I will abide by those rules and I believe that I am a trustworthy person. Many people on the server already trust me, however, I also believe trust is earned, so if I become moderator I hope to earn the trust of all players.

❉ Activity -
Activity is very important and is one of the responsibilities all moderators have. I am on Skyblock everyday, and although real life things may come up, I try to play for at least 2 hours a day. I believe that it is important for a mod to be as active as they possibly can to help as many people as they possibly can. I believe I will be very active as a mod, as well as look at chat as much as I can.

❉ Constant Moderating -
A moderator should be constantly moderating chat, and anything that is going on around them online. Moderators should not just fly around doing nothing and I understand that. I believe in constantly looking at chat to see if anyone is having issues and replying to all /msg's accordingly.

❉ Decision Making Skills -
Moderators should have good decision making skills. I believe as a mod, I can make tough decisions quickly. If someone is breaking the rules I will make a decision on what the consequences will be based on how severe the act that they are doing is. Even if a friend or someone I respect is breaking the rules, I will see that they get the same punishment as anyone else. This includes rank, I will not turn a blind eye based on what rank you are on the server. Rules set forth by the server owner/administrator must be followed by everyone that plays Skyblock.

❉ Experience -
Experience can be a key component to how well moderators do their job. I have some experience with Xenforo and moderating forums made using that service. I also have some experience with moderator plugins, such as logblock and I know basic commands such as; /kick, /ban, /mute, ect.

❉ Understanding -
Understanding when players are being rude, uncooperative when breaking the rules is something I can do. I will take action according to the way the player in question treats me and other players. I also understand when players are being kind, reasonable and cooperative and I will consider that when I take action against a player that has broken the rules.

❉ Summary -
I know I wont be able to help everyone on the server, it's unrealistic to keep track of that many people at once. But I will try my best to help out those that I can, hopefully I will be able to help out many players. I understand that a lot of the time, what is written on an application is different then the actions taken on the server. I do plan to take what I've written down and apply it to the server as best as I possibly can. Helping players and preventing harmful players from making the server a worse place to play on will be my number one priority in being mod.

I do have some past experience as a moderator. I have moderated forums before as well as Minecraft servers. However, none of these servers have been on the large player scale that Skyblock has, and I hope I can apply what I have learned from a small user base and apply it to a large user base.

Thanks for your opinion I appreciate your feedback and i'll add a little more detail. I did work hard on those pictures and I do like to put in extra work to show I'm serious about applying. I'll keep them for now, and see what the popular opinion is before taking them out.

Thank you for the partial support! You're really nice as well and I appreciate your feedback. When I help people it's usually through a private message, but I do answer questions whenever I can in public chat. It is a shame that we are in different timezones :< but from what I can tell you're doing a great job moderating! Sometimes when I help it's a small thing such as answering questions a new player has or directing a new player on what to do or where to go. I also give new players saplings or some seeds if they are in need of them. But I also like to help people that have something bad happen to them. For example, Lemonade recently had an event called "Oktoberfest" and his beacon was stolen, so I donated 20 diamonds to him for hosting such a cool event for people. I also try and remind players of the rules as much as I possibly can and those are some of the ways I help on the server.
