This has been occurring *extremely* frequently (like 80+ times / 24 hours). And many, many people are complaining about it in-game. It is not just me, or my PC, or my internet connection. It IS a server issue. It makes me sad since I've 'donated' well over $200 to this server and would just like to enjoy and play the game. I really wish the admin / staff would take a look into this issue (and take a more active role in .org server maintenance in general). My understanding is that there are only 1-2 people even capable of accessing server-side commands and GUI interfaces. I can understand that it is difficult to find qualified people to trust to fill these positions, but to only have 1 or 2 admins for a server of this size (.org + .net + .com combined) is just ludicrous! At the very least, .org needs its own, dedicated admin; somebody who is actually in-game often to listen to the users and fix problems as they arise. I would really hate to see such a wonderful server go the way of the dinosaurs like so many other MC servers have before due to poor / lacking administration.

It is a shame, and these lag spikes seem to come in waves. Some days it's perfect, and others it's awful, same for .net. I don't know if this is some 'doxing' or whatever, but I hope it's resolved :<

Oh and also there's only one admin, the one and only cypriotmerks/cypriotmerkz cx

Yes! I thought it was just my bad internet connection. Better let my parents know that I've been hitting the router for no reason :p

Yes. Theres like 1 dc every 30 minutes. At first i thought that it was just a server restart as everyone gets kicked ot except a few who kind of seem immune to it. But its too frequent to be a daily server restart. Please look into it.

BTW, this forum/site also goes down each time the .org MC server craps out.
Not sure if this happens on .net also? I try to stay away from there as much as
    humanly possible.

This happens to me a lot especially during skywars and .net. I've never really played that much on .org so I don't know about that, but I'm really hoping this will be fixed because the server crashes way too often.

Yeah, the disconnects are really becoming a nuisance now, even more so than before. I hate being right in the middle of helping someone, lag horribly, and randomly disconnect. I always think, "Shoot, I hope they dont think I left them because I got bored or something" XD

Hopefully, though, this will be taken care of sooner rather than later.

Yeah I agree. I put up a post about it ages ago, no one really notices my posts though.. Anyway, my ping reached 2300ms once..and im on an ADSL 2+ broadband network which is one of the fastest in my country so it shouldnt be that bad. I am constantly disconnecting and constantly chat lagging and getting major lag spikes lasting up to 40 seconds before everything rushes in. This needs to be fixed - and i suggest doing it quick. It is very very frustrating and its causing a LOT of players to stop playing - ive seen many come and go due to it.

Well, SkyBlock is officially UNPLAYABLE for me, now. The lag completely locks up the game just a few moments after I log in and then I walk around in eerie frozen silence until the server disconnects me about a minute later. Good game, NoobCrew / CypriotMerks. You have $200+ of my hard-earned money spent on ranks, spawners, etc. And I have.. absolutely nothing. I can't even chat with my .org friends unless I use TeamSpeak or Skype. I guess I learned a lesson the hard way; the size or popularity of a particular server has zero to do with how well it works if the admin merely take your money and run. A good server requires a) people in charge who actually care about it and b) people in charge who know how, and are dedicated to, fixing problems when they arise.

People have actually quit because of this issue. It's become close to near impossible to play org with the frequent disconnects/ horrible lag spikes. If this lasts much longer, there won't be players to inform when this happens. This needs to be brought to someone's attention that will actually do something about this. There have been people that have spent hundreds of dollars on upgrades, and if this is how we have to play for the rest of the time, it sure isn't worth what we've spent.

Yeah Im thinking about quitting, all my other friends ended up doing so which really really sucks because if the problem is resolved, I cant contact them to tell them so. But also new players dont want to play anymore.

The random disconnections are being caused by our ddos protection, we'll have it fixed asap.

For both org and net, or just org? Net crashes a lot too.

The game always gives me one of these three errors when I get kicked from the server:

    Connection Lost

    Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException

    Connection Lost

    Disconnected

    Connection Lost

Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

I just thought I would post that in case it's even remotely useful to anybody trying to troubleshoot the problem(s). I still think we need more than *two* admins for what is essentially three different servers (even if it is shared hosting). That's not even counting the dozen or so Mineverse servers that NoobCrew also owns / operates. I don't go on any of those, but I'm curious if they have issues as well? Or do they actually have more admins to fix things when they break?
