Hello! My name is Amy, and I would love to be a mod for skyblock.net! Before you start, I would just like to thank you for reading, and for all the support Your in-game name: My in-game name is PresidentCupcake A little strange, I know, but you get used to it! xD Which timezone are you in? UTC + 10. I live in Australia What languages do you speak? I speak English as my primary language. I can also speak a bit of German. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) I have never been banned. I know most people will say 'oh, lucky' but I want to take the time, now to say that it's not really luck. It's just that I believe in sticking to the set rules, even if you have to question them Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a mod, because ever since I started playing on skyblock, I've found them so helpful, and I think it would just be amazing to be able to be as helpful as they were to me. I remember a specific time, I had a kind of noobish question on skyblock. I asked a lot of people about it, but nobody answered, instead people said 'wow, noob', 'you don't know that?!' 'sorry-I don't talk to noobs'. I eventually asked a mod and they very kindly, answered the question. I remember thinking that they were just so nice and helpful. I hope to be like that. Now, I understand that you don't have to be a mod, or a high rank to be nice and helpful. I think anybody can. But mods are the people that you usually go to, and I want to help. I find that I can help lots of people, and they find me quite useful. I want to use this to the best of my ability. Another reason, I think I should be a mod, is because I am quite organised and fast. If someone messages me with a question, I can usually reply within a minute. On skyblock, I own multiple shops with my friends. I am often told, I am very helpful. In fact, when I asked a customer to describe me, she said 'always on, helps the best on our island, nice with customers' Skyblock is my favourite server, and I would just be so honoured and thrilled to become a bigger, major part of it. How long can you be active on the server every day? I can't be online 24/7, as I do have school and family work, but I am on a LOT. Here is my usual schedule: MONDAY: 4:30pm-6:30pm TUESDAY: 3:00pm-6:00pm WEDNESDAY: 4:00pm-6:00pm THURSDAY: 3:15pm-6:30pm FRIDAY: 4:00pm-7:00pm SATURDAY: any time SUNDAY: any time, until 5pm As you can see, I'm on skyblock a LOT xD PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS IN AU TIMEZONE I can also go on at other times, at request. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I was a moderator on a small server, that has unfortunately been deleted. I loved being a mod, and would jump at the opportunity to be a mod again. How long have you been playing skyblock? I have played skyblock for about 2 years, but only recently have I made it part of my daily routine xD. I love it so much, and it's my favourite server by far! (aaaaand no, I promise I'm not just saying that xD) On Skyblock, I usually run a wide assortment of shops with my friends. We have a trade shop, banner shop, etc. I also like to let people know that if they have any questions about the server. Once a user messaged me and asked "why do you play skyblock" this actually got me thinking. Why do people spend hours sitting, bunched up at a computer screen, playing a game. I thought about it, and then I realised that the reason skyblock is such a success is because you can just be you. You start off with a mini island, and you grow it, like YOU want it to be! You work out the shape, size, length, which house goes where, what the ground should be made out of. You shape the island, as your dream. I think that's what I love about it, is that it just makes even the most boring people, show their creative side. (Wow Amy, that was deep) MY GOOD QUALITIES: I am often online I have practise dealing with people, from running multiple shops on my world I am organised I can be helpful I know a lot about the server I can settle diagreements and disputes well I have been playing it for a long time I am mature (well, as mature as a geek who sits, staring at a computer screen for hours, can be xD) Again, thank you so much for reading my application. I would love to be a mod, not just for my sake, but for the sake of the server. I know that being a mod gives you a lot of responsibility, and I fully believe I am up for the job. I would love it if you gave me your support, but if not-thanks for the taking the time to read this application! -Amy/PresidentCupcake
Alright, Hello. You need, -To be more active in-game, I have never seen you on. -You are new to the forums, this is an issue since you'll need to be more active and balance things out both in-game and on the forums. The forums lets you dig deeper into the community and make new friends, and it strengthens your chance of being a Mod. -More helpful, even though I haven't seen you on, you'll need to be more helpful in-game and such. For now, No support. Good luck.
No Support for now. -I don't see you online a lot, (we are in very similar time zones.) -I don't see you helping in-game -Try to get to know the community more seeing as you just joint the forums -Become more active on the forums Like Maisaa said, knowing the community is very important as a mod. You must know the community very well. Good luck,
Thank you. I would like to say that I believe I am online a lot, in fact I'm online as we speak. You may not see me though. However, I appreciate all opinions. Thanks for the advice
My IGN is maisaaa. Well listen, I just talked to you, and you told me your brother was using your account(Spamming chat, false accusations, etc.). This is a problem, since, if you are Mod, you, only, are allowed to have access to your account. If others use your account, even if it's your bother, it could put the server at great risk. So please avoid that next time.
He was on without my knowing. I talked to him and he promises not to do it again. Also, if I may just point out that you said 'false accusations'. Yes he was spamming, which was wrong, but the accusations he was making were correct, and reasonable.
Blaming someone for scam, which isn't true by the way, is not considered false? Just asking, but how do you know it was true, if you weren't even there?
Well, I don't know for 100% certain, but from what my brother told me, and from what the other user told me, it was true.
Of course it was true coming from your brother, I was there, and it was legit, from what I've seen. The player wasn't scamming anyone, and how could a charity be a scam if you arn't getting anything in return? And who is the other user?
No Support Reasons: ~Your a new Member ~You need to be more active. Get to know the forums and the community within skyblock. ~Be more helpful In game. Yes I have seen you once but you weren't helping.
No Support -Never seen you on -Never seen you helping -Your a new member, get to know the community more.
Wait... Restatement. me and my best friend Levesile see you LOADS on Skywars. You should try and be a skywars moderator. or an org moderator. org is probably easier because there is very few people on a day. FULL SUPPORT
No Support. I never seen you on before. You're new to the forums, so try to get use to it for a bit. Add a bit more info to why you should be a mod. Good Luck Though. BTW: Add your time-zone in your title, and take out the happy face. It's just a suggestion, you don't have to do it. Again GL Also, please stop restating that you are on a lot. We understand that you are dedicated.
