My coop recently found a book that had no title and no author, but when you opened it it said * Invalid book tag * . My coop thinks this could be worth something, but I said it was just a glitch and probably wasn't worth much, but I would like other opinions.

[Edit] Ok my coop just told me that the book must have been made by Cyp or another OP because they need to use command blocks to create this glitch. I would still like opinions on its value

It's not made by cyp or an op or command block, it's made by a glitch back from logblock rollbacks. When you rollback written books it doesn't keep the content or title. I'm sorry, but it's not worth very much, maybe around 3-6 diamonds. However, the book cannot be cloned or it crashes the client, so keeping the book and waiting for them to become more rare would do you well. I have over 16 of them myself, and they aren't even kept in my rares chest, but in the semi-rares, so that should help with the value.

Someone please explain why is this book illegal to own?

I had 2 taken off me. One was forced from my enderchest and the other one was from a snitch, I would of pass it to them if they demand it just before a ban. But NO it just got taken away with no reason

Yea the mod purple ask me to give it, and i said Nuuu, then purple asked another person to trick me to lend it to them and then take it off them. Then i had another one in my enderchest which either krissy or Purple took it.


All was return when i asked Frozen to help me out.

Purple say it was illegal to own and saying they are trying to hunt them down
