A bit about me: I am 13 and I am in the 8th grade. I have been playing on this server for quite some time now and I want to step up and actually help people. Yes I am quite new to formus, but I am learning pretty fast what it is and what it is used for. I also already know the basic commands that are used by mods. I have only been temp banned once, and that was because I was advertising for a skin comp, but since then I have understood that advertizing should be kept to the minimum, to prevent others from not having a good time with their friends and other people on the server. From that time I have not gotten temp banned or anything of the sort. Why do you think you should be a mod? Here are a some reasons I think I should be a mod: Helpful- ever since I was younger I have always been eager to help. It fills me with a good feeling like yes, good job, your doing great. Trust worthy- I can be trusted with responsibility. I have been trusted by lots of people, real people I know, and also by people I meet in the game. Responsible- I am a responsible person in most all things. I maintain A's in all my classes, I play sports, and I still have time to play my favorite game. Kind/ polite- No matter if people hate me or love me I maintain a kind attitude towards them because violence only makes things worse. Also most people I know, I am Kind and polite to them. Respect- I personally think this is an important thing to have. Being respectful is a good thing. Just by talking to someone in the chat you can sort of tell what kind of a person they are. I think being respectful is important also because most people on the server look up to mods and people of higher ranks, so you are some what of a role model, and normal people on the server might do things that you do because they think it is good. If you are respectful they will most likely also be respectful. Passion- Most people play to play, but I really have a passion to do this. Some people do things because they are forced to, but not me. Genuine- I do not lie to other players, if I grief (which I don't) I would tell them I did. Also I think lying is not okay to do to anyone, brother, sister, family, and especially players. If some ask you a question and you don't know I just admit it and go on. I do not lie and pretend I do know. Patience- I do not usually mind if people take there time. I have been in situations where I feel rushed, and I know the feeling. I do not like making people feel like they are on a time limit, even if I am in a rush I do not show it. If I become a mod I would not rush people to do anything. I think everyone knows how it feels, and no one likes it, so I would be patient. Dedicated- I am dedicated to everything I start. I have started minecraft, and I have become dedicated to the game, and most of all the server. To all people I start talking to I make sure I help them get done what the want if they need help. I also show dedication toward most all people I talk to. I want to make them feel I am dedicated to helping them, and making sure they get done what they want. Fast typer- I can type pretty fast which will come in handle if I need to respond to someone ASAP. This can also come in handy because many people are impatient, so being able to type fast will get things done quicker, and make the server run smoother. Mature- I have been maturing drastically I think ever since I went to middle school because I know that not everything in life is a joke or funny. Also being mature will make things go faster because instead of messing around the job will get done and so will the next thing that needs to get done. Do not favor- I treat everyone the way they are supposed to be treated. I don't show favoritism to donors, girls, boys, or anyone else. I treat them the way the should be treated. I also don't like when other people favor, so I know how it feels, so if and or when I become a mod I will make sure that NO ONE is left out, and make sure people are treated the right way by me and also my others. Active- I am very active in the game, I can play for a few hours in a row, and it's something I love to do. Yes, I am not very active on formus, but I will start to get on formus for at least 1 to 2 maybe 3 hours daily. Extra reason- I find a lot of the time people are calling in chat for mods, and it seems that they don't stop calling. To me this means that there are not enough mods out there to actually engage in helping people. If and or when I become a mod I would definitely make sure if people need help they get it in the proper way, and when they need it. How long can you be active on the server every day? I can be active for about 2-4 hours daily on weekdays, and about 4-6 hours on the weekends. Most of the time that's about right, but some days I might be on for more or less (mostly more), but most of the time it's 2-4 and 4-6. but of course if I need to be on for a longer I will, I am willing to. Monday- 2-4 hours Tuesday-2-4 hours Wednessday-2-4 hours Thursday-2-4 hours Friday-2-5 hours Saturday-4-6 hours Sunday-4-6 hours Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do have a little experience, but that was on my brothers server, so I don't know if that would count as being a moderator.

You just joined the forums today, so I suggest getting to know the forums a bit more along with the community before applying for such an important position. Hey there! Starting off with your application, it lacks detail. Put more effort and time into it to make yourself outgoing. Specifically in the Why do you think you should be a mod? section. There are a couple of things that are unnecessary in this application. Such as your Minecraft history. Instead, imply your skills, qualifications, characteristics, etc. Doing so will make this application more professional. I have never seen you in-game and forums. I can see you're a new member. Did you create an account just to apply for moderator? Get more involved and look around more. I don't see any potential within you. You're still a beginner. You've got a lot to learn from your hands. Get more experience, advice, recommendations, be active, etc, all that good stuff. Because at this point, I don't think you're ready. Moderating is a huge responsibility on forums and in-game. All I can say now is good luck.

Here's a suggestion, it can help you. How to make an adequate application | Skyblock Forums 30% support! You seem happy and excited, very prepared also. But you are just getting used to the forums and you are new, so I suggest you wait a little longer until you make this application ready for any type of feedback. But here are some questions you might need to ask yourself: 1. Is my grammar correct? 2. Do I sound mature? 3. Am I being honest with the server? 4. Am I re-reading my application? 5. Am I ready for disrespect, or even hate? This might help.
