To start off, I think this would be handy for both org and net. I think that once a player has joint the server, it should automatically come up with a command just for them that says, To view the rules of the server, go to /warp rules or type /rulebook. I think the rulebook should get updated once a month. Even though it may be hardly used, it could still be useful. I don't know if you agree or not, but just please let me know. Thanks
Showing the rules in chat would be clientside, only you would see it. If Cyp configured /rules it would be great. The command /rules is already a part of either craftbukkit or essentials (can't remember which) and it simply displays the rules you want it to. A broadcast to tell people what to do would be great too. I'm pretty sure a lot of people do /rules when they join a server to check, but it doesn't work on SB :l
Support! Didn't they use to have this villager guy in the side of spawn, when you trade sticks with him, he will give you the book? I use to take him for granted, now I really miss that guy XP
I guess /rules makes more sense. Books involve too much editing and can get rather long. Having the basic rules shown and a message to type /rules for the rules upon login would be best.
SupportHaving a command to list the rules in-game would be very useful, maybe instead of having all the rules in one message spamming your chat, have it so that it function like the /help command. For example: /rules /rules 1 /rules 2 and etc... Therfor it would be divided into sections. Instead of just a bulky message listing the rules all at once.
