What is a frame? Do not think im mentioning the item frame. Frames are a fake report that you actually did everything right and someone fake reports you and you get banned. Sadly trolls are everywhere and can ruin your day.But if this didnt happen to you yet you can follow this guide! How to deal with a scam frame You can get framed by scamming.The framer can screenshot himself dropping,you confirming the deal and you leaving without the bought item on the hotbar , but on his inventory. But if you get reported,there is still something to do. If you already got reported You never know if you got reported since reports are private. But you can take the risk if you did get reported and do this: First step: Screenshot every single chest of your island and its contents. The item may be on one of these Second step: If you didnt find it in the chests,someone /trusted on the island/a coop member may got it borrowed.If you are a donor 400 /invsee every coop member online and every /trust people online.The item may be in one of these.If you find the item on the member/ /trust person's hand screenshot it.If you arent a donor 400 you can ask one online to /invsee it and screenshot it and send the screenshot via PM on forums Third step:If you get banned you post these in the ban appeal to show mod that was a frame and you get it accepted. If you yet didnt trade Thats even more easy. You just need a camera and a youtube account. First step: Record the trade even yet its successful. Second step:When the trade is done DO NOT DELETE THE VIDEO. THE PERSON MAY BE A FRAMER AND NO EVIDENCE WOULD BE LEFT IF YOU DO DELETE . Third step: If you get banned post the trade on youtube. Fourth step: Post a ban appeal. You need to get the video link and post it on your appeal.Mod should accept you back. Sadly if you got already banned you can only post a ban appeal and try to convince mod you were framed or act like you did acttualy scam. How to deal with grief frames You can get framed for being paid for demolishing island layer and then even with a video the framer can get you banned While you demolish Its fairly easy to proof you didn't grief because you wanted the items and was jealous,raged,etc.All you need to do is screenshot the agreement that you was doing a favor/job for the person. Another thing you can do is take screenshots during a trade as well for when you drop the items, and show you don't have them at all, but you have the other players item. This would save some trouble for those who don't have recording software, so all they really have to do is post the pictures or use Imgur as a source to make a photo set of the trade for a mod to look at.
