I'm here to get opinions on if we should get a WTS/WTB system going on in skyblock? Obviously this isn't essential but I consider it an easy way to get trading done without spamming the chat. So how does WTS/WTB work you ask? ":" = for. "3 Diamonds : 1 Spawner" = "3 Diamonds for 1 Spawner / 1 Spawner for 3 Dias" WTS = Want To Sell. Pretty Basic. Replaces "Selling 3 Diamonds for 64 Grass" that you see in chat with "WTS 3 Diamonds : 64 Grass" WTB = Want to Buy. Pretty Basic. Replaces "Selling 64 Grass for 3 Diamonds" that you see in chat with "WTB 64 Grass : 3 Diamonds" WTT = Want to Trade. Pretty Basic. Replaces "Trading 64 Ice for 64 Glass" that you see in chat with "WTT 64 Ice : 64 Glass" Easy way to slightly reduce the spam in chat. Also allows us skyblock players who trade to sell and buy multiple things at once with prices. e.g. "WTS Zombie SpwnEgg : 20 Dia, Spawner : 3 Dia, 64 Grass : 3 Dia, WTB Enderframe : 500 Dia, Beacon : 100 Dia" etc. Like it, don't like it, either way I don't mind. Just a suggestion to see if anyone would actually be interested in implementing it. *NOTE* Do not put this in the "suggestions" tab as this isn't a suggestion for the server itself but purely for the community. Support, by saying WTS/WTB you'll be able to describe all the items you're currently selling in once sentence instead of a few sentences.
Used to this type of system due to playing countless different MMORPG games. It'll be weird to see it on Minecraft for once, but sure, why not? Support all the way. xD
Thanks for the support but a reminder is, it's not something that can be changed without actually implementing it. Next time you want to buy/sell something, use the WTB/WTS and convince others to use it as well otherwise this'll never work.
I support the idea. But it wouldn't necessarily reduce spam, it would just make your sentences shorter. People could still spam it.
This might not exactly "reduce" the spam, but merely make trading simpler. I might try this when I am buying cookies
