In world history today, that's all we were discussing about.

Some real disrespectful f***ing c***s. Swear f***ing hate the internet where people think being f***ing jerk offs and satanic children is cool. Its like people that think depression is cool and feed the trend of slitting your goddamn wrists for no good reason at all. Obviously there have been alot bigger massacres, doesn't mean you need to completely disrespect the first major attack on US soil. Pathetic.

Okay, let's at least agree that this is kid's game and this is kid's forum. There shouldn't be such threads here. If you want to express your emotions about such topics, go to reddit: you're always welcome there.
When it was 9th May 2015, the day of the end of WW2, I and only a few people remembered about such tragic war on these forums and did not post is as thread, only as a status. Conclusion: don't post threads about such things, keep them as statuses to keep haters away. Simple.

By the way that you all (or most) are acting, how are you showing respect to the ones who died? You mean the innocent ones that were either at work or on their way to work? How are you showing respect at all? This is a huge event in history, and is virtually the biggest attack on US soil. Put it this way: how about having your relative being lost in the 9/11 attack. He or she did nothing to deserve this; you're just being ignorant and forgetting the fact that people innocent people died. Dead. Gone. Forever removed from earth. In no way was this justified, so you can't say that.

Go ahead and dislike this, go ahead and rate this rude or disagree, I could care less; you may be pointing out the facts, but come on. Show some common courtesy and give these people some respect.

On another note, if this gets too out of hand, I'm gonna close this; the last thing we want is another flame war.

Yeah because nobody ever talks about the holocaust, most tragic event in WW2. It's not only about the dates and when things are celebrated. Your argument isn't valid in this case.

And in the case of an American hosted server, the largest attack on US soil shouldn't be completely disrespected by people who think they're funny and purely want a unique opinion for the f*** of it. Children should be aware of these events. There's a reason why its taught in school, there's a reason why we have a history class. Pretty sure I'd be in loads of trouble if I told my teacher to shut the f*** up about 9/11 as it isn't important.

Okay, why don't you go feed or donate money for the sake of starving African children? These people die every year in hundreds of thousands, these are the innocent people who actually need to be remembered about. Events in the history are supposed to teach people something, what has 9/11 taught people? Start massacre on Americans and millions of people will die.
Even if people died, your common courtesy and respect is not sincere as let's imagine that each person that died during 9/11 had 4 closest relatives and 12 friends. 3,000 x 16 = 48,000 people suffered from such event. That's a pour in the sea, only 0.01584% of America's population. This thread has been made to earn likes, respect and message count.
I'm not saying that these 3,000 died for nothing, but that event happened 14 years ago. Let's just keep it in status, Americans aren't the greatest nation in the world to be remembered about every death of every American for years.

Disagreed, you are meant to "discuss" on the forums. People can discuss/argue about tragic events, fine by me. But throwing insults at each other is not acceptable. If that happens, the messages should be edited/deleted.

There's no reason why a thread expressing sympathy and remorse for people that lost their lives should be locked. The people who ruined it should have their posts deleted, is all.

I don't understand why you guys are bringing in people who have died in Iraq. This day is to remember the people that have died in the attack, and in no way did we ever say we didn't kill innocents. This day is to REMEMBER the people who died, not the difference between 9/11 and Iraq innocents.

This thread has not been made for that, it has been made to remind people of that event. Yes, there are many, and many people do donate to african children. If possible, you can remove the "like" button or other on this thread and not make me get messages. I don't care, it's not for that purpose. I don't care about pixels on a forum.

Yes, but 9/11 teaches nothing kids. It was an event imitated by American government to use as an excuse to start a war with Iraq.
There has been a lot of acts of terrorism in the history, but only a few are described in the books as others teach nothing or teach something that government doesn't want people to know about.

I don't see anyone discussing. Just people constantly cursing at each other. If anyone lets out they're opinion they're immediately shouted at, it's not a good atmosphere to be in.

We're not insulting each other, all I see in this thread is constructive criticism of other members. If you're so afraid of arguments, then why would you start threads like this? It is always guaranteed that apart from support and courtesy you'll also earn criticizing comments.

I see no constructive criticism.. and I also don't see how this thread is going to end well. It's just going to keep on escalating.

Then let's take the lesson out of this thread: never create such threads. Post them as statuses. Already mentioned that a few posts above.

My apologies I didn't see that post and I completely agree with you. I do enjoy arguments however when they are on a serious topic such as this one, on a forums that contains young children it can get out of hand.

At least they are being remembered unlike dead innocent children elsewhere.
