I have been wondering if we are allowed to sell all of our items what we currently have to make money for a new island, if this is not clear I'll post a clearer version below; I want to make an island. I want to sell all materials/items (obvs not illegal trading stuffs). Can I sell ALL of my stuff and make a new island? Because I want to start with a friend, even though I don't have any
I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but just for your information: You can't make an island and farm that island and sell items, because that's illegal. Hope that helps.
Well I didn't make it to farm it, I was off to keep it but now I want to do it with others so can I sell my items?
Well I guess you can sell anything as long as its not, buckets, sand, and dirt. You cant sell anything you have gotten from an island which you have made. Well you can in some ways. Like since the chest gives you sugar cane you could sell it if you made a farm of sugar cane. So basically you cant make an island just to sell it.
As long as the items are not illegal, you can go ahead and do that. CoolCreeper already stated that dirt, sand, and buckets are illegal to trade due to island farming. Island farming refers to someone making an island, collecting the resources, storing the items in his or her enderchest/at a friend's island, and either keeping or selling the items for the benefit of yourself or others. Also, you're not allowed to sell your island, just the materials off it (kind of seems stupid, but it makes sense in a way ). Tl;dr yes. xD Does this answer your question?
No, wait, I am confused, and I wanna make sure this player isn't new island farming. TheOreoBoy, do you mean, creating an island, taking those items, and storing them on another island or something of the sort, and selling those items?
Ok let me clear this up. If you have an island and you break it and sell off the blocks (legal to trade blocks) it is legal. This is what I believe you mean. You have wood, cobble etc that you would like to sell before you leave. It is perfectly legal. You may not sell your island whole or have people come grief it (grief parties) You also may not make new islands, trade its contents, then make a new one and repeat (which is island farming) If you have an alt make an island the illegal to trade contents need to stay on the alts island Island farming with alts is not allowed either.
